Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating; immediately after towel drying; at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures, including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am - 2 pm; wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.Children Under 6 Months:

The only reason this item has one star from me is because of the SPF. The feel and taste is too uncomfortable. It does not do a good job at hydrating my lips. The formula is very light and thin so I find myself having to reapply it often, I reluctantly do it because it has a very strong smell and an extremely sweet and unpleasant taste, I would say it definitely tastes like coconut on a high! (this is not a good thing!) I would not recommend this product at all. I don’t usually throw products away but this one is definitely going in the trash can.

Extremely sweet, it feels like we are putting sweetener on our lips. I found it to have zero sun protection, quite the opposite, when I used it I found my lips more burned and dry than with lip sticks without sun protection factor.

I did not like this…maybe because it has a higher SPF than most lip balms which are usually SPF15…but this one just tastes like sunscreen and is thin and oily. And it made my lips feel drier. Not an enjoyable experience at all! I’ll stick to my thicker lip balms with the SPF15.

At first I liked it the smell wasn’t to bad, it was a little oily but whatever right… while I was out in the sun I could literally feel my lips burning and thought that’s weird as I’ve never felt that before, continued on and notice the next day a few blisters were forming on my lips!!! my lips , throat and face was swelling too .. I will never buy this again and will be returning.

I love SunBum products, but this was not one of them. The texture is very thin and oily, which does nothing to your lips. My lips feel worse after applying. The scent and taste is also very strong! I wish this lip balm sat on the lips better.
