I have owned quite a few battery chain saws, and the 10" is by far my favorite. It is very light and easy to carry around, especially thru thick woods. I've used this one for several years. It is excellent for zipping off little branches, and even does a good job on bigger trees. Unless I have a big tree I'm going to cut, this little guy is always my go-to.

The chainsaw stops quite often requiring me to remove battery and reconnected it. This is the 2nd one I had as my first did this too until it would not start up anymore.

I live in a neighborhood that is tucked in the woods and had my doubts that this little fella could do much more than help with some yard bushes but thought I'd take it for a test drive clearing out the path in the forest where some trees (some a good 18 in wide) had fallen. Took a few battery charges but I made it through some big trees with the little saw. Tons of power as long as it it not forced. No overheating, binding or kickback. I couldn't believe how well it worked and the battery lasted a good while and recharged almost as fast as I did. I am telling all the neighbors about this handy little saw and one has already taken me up on it and is as shocked and pleased as I am. Great product.

I use it to cut scraps of wood and dogwood and it goes through them pretty well. The battery life is decent as long as you don't charge it overnight. Overall, great chain saw.

While I don’t think it works on very large trees, this was a breeze with smaller ones. Thankfully that’s all I needed to worry about. Pretty strong chain. The battery life also lasted a good while. Happy with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a winter freeze here in Texas, and it killed a lot of our trees in the yard - mostly citrus trees. The trees survived heat and freezing weather for 10 years until 2021, when our area had the worst freeze weather. I have been sawing off branch after branch, little by little on weekends, now, I need to deal with the trunks. Having this cordless chainsaw help in making the work easy. Without cords, moving around the trees - I do not have to deal with detangling cords or having to find 100ft of electrical power extensions. The chainsaw is well built. It took me some time to get my "courage" to carry and use the chainsaw, but in the end, there's nothing to fear. Okay, citrus trees and crepe myrtles don't have that much think branches/trunks, but this is much easier and faster using a hand saw or branch clipper.
Pretty good chainsaw for the price!

I wanted to try the 24Volt chainsaw kit and it really does keeps up with the other tools I have. I have used it to trim our tree and it worked great. Long battery life and great cutting power! Highly recommend this chainsaw for the decent price it was!

Once it gets a little warmer out we will really put it to use. We own a second home with three acres and lots of trees that need cut. It came with a battery and a charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a few days ago the Sun Joe 24V-10CS 24-Volt iON+ Cordless Chanin Saq Kit, 10-Inch with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger and I love it. The timing to get the chainsaw was perfect because I had oak tree branches to cut and also a lot of branches in the green belt going into our backyard. The chainsaw is very easy to bring-up, just charge the battery, plug it, fill the oil chain reservoir, remove the security and go. This is very easy and it will not fail to start on the contrary of a gas chainsaw. All is included in the package, the chainsaw of course, the charger, the battery, the key for the chain. The only thing not provided is the oil chain, it would be awesome if Sun Joe could add a small bag of oil. The 10-inch length may seem too small but it turns out that most of the branches are smaller than 10 inches. I live in Central Texas, we do not have very big trees. The chain saw may feel like a toy because it is battery powered and runs without noise but do be careful it is a "real" chainsaw, it cuts just the same without the gas inconveniences. The last thing concerns the battery, it lasted about 1 hour using it almost all the time, which in my opinion is great for a cordless chainsaw. If you plan to use it more then you need to get another battery ready. In conclusion, I recommend the Sun Joe cordless chainsaw, you will not be disappointed.

The charger actually charged pretty fast, but I wish the battery lasted a little bit longer than it did. Make sure that you have oil on-hand to set the chainsaw up. A nice compact option, I would recommend getting a secondary battery for bigger jobs.

The grip is great and it Is a perfect weight to make it easy to handle when on. We use ours when cleaning up the yard we have old maple trees that lose alot of branches and the chainsaw helps cut them down in size.

We live in a wooded area in Tennessee so I was able to cut a bunch of limbs that would get in my mowing way. I also have a mature weeping cherry tree that this works perfect on to trim so of the limbs up on. I wouldn’t recommend this for big trees but perfect for what I need!

The Sun Joe brand was an unknown to me, but alas, I took a shot on a Sun Joe Power Washer. I still have it today and am still totally satisfied with it. Given that history/experience with the Sun Joe brand, the leap to a Sun Joe Cordless Chain Saw was not an insurmountable one. In addition, I was confident in my decision given Sun Joe’s 2-year warranty that came with this mighty 10” cordless, 24-volt, cordless chain saw/kit. At a weight of 8.4 pounds and a run time of 12 minutes (or about 74 cuts), this chain saw is perfect for my backyard cutting needs without the added maintenance that comes with a traditional chainsaw. Easily and smoothly cut through branches/twigs of up to 9 inches in diameter. It’s so light and easy to use that even my spouse can operate it without supervision and is even excited to use it! The built-in and onboard bar and chain lubricator is such a nice feature as it allows for an uninterrupted completion of the task at hand. The battery charge time is approximately 2 hours 40 minutes to fully charge, and when charged, it is easily seated on the tail end of the saw. Grateful that Sun Joe has an included cutting bar sheath to protect the bar/chain.

We have a neighbor that has tons of dead trees that unfortunately break off into our yard, and it was becoming tiring for my husband to always be sawing them up and taking them out. We have tress all around us big and small and was needing to be cut out of the way anyhow, I never would of thought this chain saw would be able to handle it so don't underestimate this electric 24V chain saw model it has done a great and quick job! The chain saw took care of some 4” diameter & 6” diameter tree, with a few large limbs. The saw does pause when it gets too hot, ( which is safety reasoning and understand that it will do it, so don't worry about that part ) but the battery lasted longer than expected as well, and it was a breeze to setup, charge and use. I am glad I got it and for that it comes highly recommended to everyone! Can't wait for more warmer days to go and use this bad boy!
