Description
The perfect homeowner’s chainsaw, the 10” 20V Chainsaw is powerful enough for common backyard chainsaw jobs and compact and easy enough to use that you don’t need to be a lumberjack to operate it. Chop up fallen branches after the storm, or trim limbs still on the tree before they become a problem. A whole suite of quality-of-life features makes this saw a high-performance tool that’s surprisingly comfortable to use for a chainsaw.
The automatic chain-tension system guards against over-tightening, so you won’t damage the chain. And the auto-lubrication system keeps the chain running smoothly around the bar at 3.7 m/s. Not only do these systems ensure that your saw is always running at peak efficiency, but they significantly extend the life of the tool. The chain pitch is an industrial-quality 3/8”, and the included Bar & Chain Sheath add an extra layer of protection during storage. This saw only weighs 6.2 lbs with the battery attached, so it’s much easier to handle than the standard, bulky, traditional chainsaw design. And you can extend its functionality by purchasing the Pole Saw attachment (WA0167, not included) to gain up to 10 feet of reach for trimming tree limbs.
A 20V 2.0 Ah battery and charger come with this tool, and power not just this saw, but every Worx Power Share product on the platform. That means the next time you buy a Worx Power Share tool, you probably don’t have to buy the battery.

Amazing little chainsaw

Ok I am a long time owner of Worx tools. I have the 56 volt mower, weed eater and blower. I also have the hydroshot. Both my children have wirx tools as well. I wanted a cordless chainsaw and worx had this one on sale. I used it this past weekend. I was blown away with how well it performed. I will show you the tree I cut. The only thing that is a disappointment is the battery. Worx you need to stepnup and put a longer lasting battery in your kits. I had two higher Amp hour batteries that made the difference on how this chainsaw worked. The chainsaw made it seems like this chainsaw was more powerful than a 20volt. I have a corded worx chainsaw as well. The info said it is for pruning and trimming. But you will be able to see the size logs. You will not be disappointed in the little chainsaw. Inused two batteries to cut this stack of wood.

I'm impressed with this little chainsaw. I had some large, fallen tree limbs to clean up, and it ripped right through them. The battery lasted longer than I expected, and so did the bar chain oil. The blower is quite disappointing. Maybe if it had a nozzle to concentrate the air flow it would work better, but trying to blow off my mower deck, at high speed, I was unimpressed. I had to clear most of the grass by hand (my doggie hair dryer works better). The battery life is pitiful. It's hard rating these together: The chainsaw would get a 5; the blower (maybe) a 2 (it blows grass off the sidewalk o.k.)
Very Disappointing

This saw is pretty much useless. No power. Can barely cut twigs. Leaked the entire amount of bar oil, more than once. Do yourself a favor, spend the money for a “real” chainsaw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to age, I need light weight and ease of maintenance and handling; this saw is perfect for me. I just bought my 12 year old grandson his own saw so he can assist grandma. We both (play) together to clean up honeysuckle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best cordless battery operated chainsaw out there. Very light and easy to use. Great for jobs around the house and especially the best for a female to use.

This saw really changed my mind from my first review. I had a pear tree in my back yard that was getting out of hand and drawing in a lot of wasps around the fallen pears. It was 30 ft tall with a 14” base and 10 or so offshoots in all directions. This saw chewed through it. It took 6 batteries to get it done. We had 4 batteries between my dad and I and chargers running constantly. The batteries held up well for limbing and trimming but the larger logs really drained quickly. It wasn’t quick by any means but it worked well. The saw was light enough for one hand operation on limbs but 2 on larger logs for added cutting pressure. There was enough brush and logs to fill a 6x12 tandem U-Haul. The only con would be the tensioner needed to be fiddled with as the slack after cutting. It had to totally loosened it off and readjusted. My first review stated the chain stretched. Not sure what happens there. It’s a decent general use saw considering I got it and the blower with air miles. Very handy with enough grunt to tackle a little more than you think it could. Overall much better than I thought it would be.

We bought a very wooded, overgrown lot for our RV and a garden last year. While we had the property professionally cleaned, we've had to do much of it ourselves. My husband has many WORX tools, but I wanted the small chainsaw so I could help with smaller chores. He has cancer and can't do everything, and I want to do my share. I love that little saw. The saw is perfect for getting into small spaces and getting those pesky small trees and limbs that are growing on the fence row. It's quick, efficient, easy to use and the battery lasts a long time. I don't know what I'd do without it. I still have more to cut.

I have been purchasing these tools for my husband for over 2 years now. We moved into a new house and a lot of the yard had brush and we needed some trees cut down. I purchased him the chainsaw and he loves it. The fact that the batteries are interchangeable with all of the tools is wonderful;. He has gas-powered ones but will only use his works chainsaw now.

The blower has plenty of power for what I use it for. I have the 40v chainsaw as well as the 20v one that comes with the package. I also have a gas powered saw for large projects deep in the woods. The 40v obviously has more power and is my go to for most medium sized projects. However, the 20v saw is a great lightweight alternative for small projects or working from a ladder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The leaf blower works well. The chainsaw does not even cut thru a branch smaller than my baby finger. I want to return the chainsaw — it is totally useless! I own several Worx tools and love them, so big diappointment.

Was a little skeptical when my wife purchased chain saw for me. I have found my skepticism unwarranted. Saw is liteweight easy to handle and operate. I am a 71 year old man and this saw was much easier for me to handle. The power was amazing able to use to cut significant sized limbs.

Both the chainsaw and blower are lightweight and easy to use. The battery life is great, and it is nice that the same battery can be used on both. They are also compatible with the battery for my Worx String Trimmer. Very dependable and well made.

When my husband out golfing, I don't have to wait for his gas driven chainsaw to do small to medium sized tree work. Just put a little chain for the amount of time your going to use it and that's it. Plus it doesn't run continuously like a gas one. Cut, off. Cut, off.
