Super Skiprs 4pk - Sun Squad™

These are so fun and the colors are so vibrant! The material seems very durable and I love the varying designs. It’s still winter in the Midwest, but we’re anxious to get them out on the water and test them out!

I was a little apprehensive about these, but my kids loved skipping them in the water. The float and are fun to throw and watch them skip over the surface. They loved playing with these at our pool play date.

We brought these to a pool for spring break and the kids got a lot of enjoyment out of them. Kind of like skipping a rock but rubber, and in a 4 pack! They skip over the top of the water pretty easily, but the graphics are on the bottom which was a little confusing for my kids at first. They skip a lot better if they are thrown “upside down” ( even though the instructions say to throw them that way, graphics facing down). I like that they came in a 4 pack too, because they kept getting lost and found again over the course of our trip.

The Super Skiprs 4pk from Sun Squad looks like a fun set for water play, but they are frustrating to use. The discs are lightweight and brightly colored, making them easy to spot in the water, but actually getting them to skip is a challenge. No matter how much effort goes into the technique, they tend to sink or flop rather than glide across the surface. They might work better for simple tossing games, but as skipping discs, they fall short. If you’re looking for an easy and fun skipping experience, these aren’t the best choice.

Oh the memories of Sunny summer days at the campground skipping rocks on the lake as a kid… lovely! Well the water skippers I received from Hey Bullseye (for free in exchange for my review!) bring back fond memories if only that. They are cute, look to be fun to play with, and I’m sure will be a delight for the kids this summer. I never went out to retrieve the rocks I skipped and if you want to use these on a lake more than once you’ll have to swim to collect them. Surely they float though, I hope! (It’s winter still but I have to get out to use them in a couple of months!)

These are a fun and simple take on skipping stones. Now you can have the fun of skipping stones at the pool as much as you want with these simple and reusable skipping discs. They look great for summer with fun designs and vibrant colors.

Super Skiprs are GREAT! They float and skip many times and long distances! The yellow and coral colored disks are easier to see in the lake, but all four colors worked well in the pool. The size is better for bigger hands but the heavy sided disks are forgiving for younger smaller hands too.

These skippers are made of rubber so won’t hurt the pool or other swimmers. You use them with the graphic side down and there’s a bit of grip on the inside material. The set of four ensures my kids won’t be fighting over them in the pool!

These have a fun design! They are big enough for easy gripping, and they are actually soft and flexible. (I don’t know why I thought they would be hard!) It gives me peace of mind that if they accidentally hit someone or something, the damage will be minimal. We haven’t had a chance to test them in the pool yet since it is still winter, but we are looking forward to using them!

These are really fun little things! A simple concept, but really fun— they even worked in the bathtub so the design is great because you don’t have get it just right to get it to skip. They are durable rubber, so I bet we wil have these for a long time!
