I've been making my own seeded bread and this shelled hemp seed is the first add I've used that doesn't make the bread dry. I put it in oatmeal too. And there's no funny/odd flavor from it.

Mildly nutty flavor blended well with other flavors, but the texture remained mildly unpleasant. The problem was neither I nor my wife were able to feel any benefit from 2 or 3 tablespoons/day.

Swanson's Organic Hemp Seed is the best I have tried. I like the way it is packaged to stay fresh. Hemp seed blends easily with fruit or can be sprinkled on green or fruit salad. Hint: blend with liquid first before adding fruit and other ingredients. Hemp seed takes longer to become smooth in the blender and it determines the consistency of the smoothie.
