Q: Can I refill the power mop bottle

A: No, the Swiffer PowerMop solution is not designed to be refilled.
submitted bySwiffer - 1 year agoBrand expertA: Google it. Likely there is a way to get the lid off. With the older models you could put the bottle upside down in a pot of really hot water for about 30 seconds and then the lid could be unscrewed.

*January 7, 2025 Had wanted to purchase this Refill Pack for the Swiffer Power Mop, considering I would need it when the mop runs out of cleaning solution after some uses. After a couple days have past, I have decided to open the package but, have not used the product just yet. I do plan on using the Refill Pack fairly soon, (due to the fact my basement floor, is in need of a cleaning job) it is just I have to wait until the primary cleaning solution runs out. In order to provide a fair rating, I will say, that this product should work well; Although, I would still need to see when I first use the original product which is the mop.

To all the community, once you try this, you will never go back to the traditional way of mopping your floors. Water and a bucket is a thing from the past. I love this product. The fact that cleans my floors great and after, you can discard the dirty pad. There are other products that I tried, such as the ones that have an attach pad and after, you can wash it. Who wants to do more work. I rather use the Power mop and discard the pad. Excellent product. I will recommend this to all of you.

I noticed that the refill bottles are not locking down into my device. Not sure why but I’ll have to give it one more try before I complain to the company. I kept the bottle it came with and only that one is locking into the device.

Our products all go through multiple rounds of quality tests to ensure they're in perfect Swiffering condition before leaving our manufacturing facility. So your experience with PowerMop isn't something we'd expect, AngelCakeCurls, and hope the following tips are helpful. First, double-check to make sure the piece of corrugated cardboard that's underneath the solution bottle is removed. Next, check to see if the silicone cap on top of the solution bottle isn't bulging. If it is, unscrew/rotate the cap counterclockwise by 180 degrees or half a rotation. After this step, tilt the bottle on its side for 2-3 seconds to check for liquid leakage. If there's no leakage, insert the bottle back into the device and trying running your PowerMop, and hopefully the bottle will stay latched. If there's leakage, move the bottle upright, screw the cap back on 180 degrees or rotate it clockwise to re-close. Then, retry the insertion into the device. If these suggestions don't help, please give us a call at (800) 742-9220 and we'll gladly provide more assistance.
