Had this for six months and travelled six times (one per month) and this so called Hardcase could not withstand the baggage handlers. For a reputable company, such as Swissgear, I'd expected much more. My Samsonite Hardcase lasted five years and the only reason I got rid of it was because one of the wheels broke and they didn't have a replacement since it was so old. Poor quality and Warranty wouldn't even cover it. Yes, I could have chased after the airline. But I am disappointed with this company. I bought another Samsonite. Highly, do not recommend!

I got this to make the switch from a soft-sided carry on. Definitely a good purchase! It fits a surprising amount (and I’m a serious over-packer), and the hard shell gives me peace of mind that more delicate items are safe. The retractable handle is good, although the button position can be a slight bit awkward, and the spinner wheels are great! I’ve taken this on cross-county and international flights, and it’s help up very well besides the unavoidable occasional scratch here and there from being checked. It fits well in overhead on planes AND Amtrak trains. Looks great and high-end.

If I had to find something to dislike, it would only be that the straps inside go straight across and are spaced a bit far apart. They are also not elasticized. I am accustomed to elasticized straps that are triangular for better coverage. It’s a good bag though. And whoever was complaining about the double lock handle… you only have to press one button. It’s not a problem in the least.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This luggage has a very unique design and features that I have not experienced in other luggages before. So for me that's a huge plus. The durability and additional room inside the luggage is something I really liked too. A huge benefit of having this luggage is being able to keep your belongings safe ( thanks to the locks), be able to even charge your phone with it with the added usb feature and having a luggage that will be reliable and allow you to add many items for those vacation trips or weekend get aways. I would buy more Swiss products similar to this in the future. This brand is known for really good and long lasting products. I will be mentioning this product to those close to me. It can definitely benefit them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I required a smaller suitcase to replace my old and bulky one that I've been using for a long time. The Swissgear carryon is perfect in every way. It has a TSA-approved lock built into it, which is a great relief for me as I always have trouble locating my own locks before traveling. The wheels are much smoother and quieter than my previous luggage. In addition, there is a dedicated pocket for my backup battery, and I can charge it through a USB port by the lock. The gunmetal color is stylish and suitable for both genders. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my acquisition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swissgear 7910 20" expandable carry-on hardside spinner is quite possibly one of the best luggage designs I've ever seen. I take frequent short-stay vacations (2-4 days) and need a carry-on that's easy to use, convenient, durable and secure. This piece checks all those boxes and more! The quad spinner wheels made getting through the airport on a recent trip so much easier - I was able to push/pull it without any struggle, and having 4 wheels rather than the 2 I was used to made things so much smoother. I usually pack pretty light, as I often just bring a personal item like a backpack when I travel, but this piece has so much room inside - even without using the expandable feature - that I brought more than usual just to see what would fit. I really like the zip-up partition inside, allowing me to keep some items separate from each other. So much easier to keep clothes separate from shoes and other things! And the mesh pocket inside is so much sturdier and more well-constructed than I'm used to. It doesn't feel like anything with sharper edges is going to rip through it. I think my favorite feature, though, is the USB port/pocket that let's me charge devices on the go. It always seems like my phone or laptop battery dies faster when I'm away, so having this available and not having to search for a place to charge things is probably the most convenient thing I could ask for in a piece of luggage. And I can't forget to mention the hard outer shell - super durable for sure. I did bump it a few times on my trip, and there are no scuffs or scratches anywhere. Overall, this is a very well-constructed carry-on suitcase - high quality, convenient, easy to use. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, lightweight and user-friendly carry-on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance this carry on was very sleek and beautiful. The paint is nice and shiny and the plastic seems very hard and durable. I took this on a week trip to Colorado and it fit everything I needed, including various snow pants and fleece shirts. This fit everything I needed and was the perfect carry on size. It was also very light and the wheels spin in every direction making it very easy to run at the airport with. It does come with a compartment to attach a portable charger in and charge your phone from the outside while the luggage is zipped up but I wasn't very interested in that concept. The fact that it has locks is really nice. I am in love with my new carry on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a carryon to replace the unnecessary bulky suitcase I have used for years. The Swissgear carryon hits all the marks. With its built in TSA approved lock is a lifesaver since I can never seem to locate my own locks before each trip. The wheels feel smooth and much more quiet compared to my previous luggage. I was able to make use of my backup battery which fits in a dedicated pocket and allowing for pass through charging via a USB port by the lock. The gun metal color is stylish and feels pretty gender neutral. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for free from the applicable brand in exchange for writing this review. This product is excellent I took it on 2 recent trips. First trip was as a carry on in the airport and it's so convenient and easy to move. I needed to charge my phone and didn't have to look for a plug just in the USB charging port on the side (fyi you need to provide the power pack). Second trip was a road trip and I had my laptop and fragile items inside it was located in the bottom pile of heavier lug and when I opened it everything was good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my SwissGear - Sampling SWISSGEAR 7910 20" Expandable Carry On Hardside Spinner Luggage - Gun Metal and was instantly pleased upon opening! The hard shell case is durable. I like the expandable feature; very useful on return trips with souvenirs. The ability to charge electronics is a super useful feature as you sit in the airport for hours prior to boarding. There is a locking mechanism that works great and was easy to set. I especially liked that I did not have to keep a key on me or remember to bring! The ease of use rolling thru the airport was phenomenal; no issues with the bag tipping or getting stuck on bumps. There is plenty of space for packing and the straps kept all my items neatly in place. I highly recommend this piece of luggage for carry on or checked luggage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is so perfect for traveling! You have the option to carry it on and it also has a place for your electronics to fit snugly instead of just sandwiching them in between clothes. I think it's also really nice to have the peace of mind to lock your bag. In case you check your and it gets lost, your hotel/accommodations don't have a safe and you want to keep valuables under lock. I also find the USB ports super handy so I don't have to be glued to a wall while at the airport or in case I take it camping. I received this bag for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this suitcase quite a bit. I've been wanting to buy some new luggage recently and was selected to test out this product for free in exchange for a review. It was perfect timing, really. I quite like that this carry on size piece of luggage has a TSA approved lock. I have found that many bags of this size do not have locks, so having it built in was great. The wheels work well and swivel nicely, making it quite easy to steer the suitcase around. The handle has a button on either side and one of the buttons needs to be pressed to lift and put down the handle. This is where I take away one star, as I think it would be easier to use if the button was in the middle of the handle, rather than the sides. Depending on how you are holding onto the handle, it can be difficult to maneuver the handle up and down because of the side buttons. The suitcase itself seems study. I have not noticed any scratches on it as of yet. The suitcase it a touch on the smaller size compared to other carryon bags I have used in the past, but does seem to have enough room to suffice for a weekend away or a short trip. There is a pocket to keep a powerbank with a wire that feeds to the external portion of the suitcase that looks like could be handy, but I personally have not utilized that. The suitcase also does the option to be expanded slightly. I do think this is a good quality bag and am considering purchasing the larger check bag size for myself as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carry-on is the best one I've ever owned. It's so durable, such high quality. The USB port changes the game. I also love the lock. It's nice knowing that my belongings will be secure while traveling. Everything is so sturdy, but at the same time it's sleek. The only thing that stopping this carry-on from being five stars is the fact that you need two hands to adjust the roller handle. It's a bit inconvenient in an airport setting. It would be a lot easier to manipulate it with one hand. Other than that it's an awesome carry on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is one sturdy little luggage. It held up really well on my recent trip. It is light weight and very easy to maneuver. The best feature was organizing compartments and surprisingly spacious inside. It also had expandable zipper which I didn't need to use. I love the zippers are locked in neatly at side - bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband travels for work at least once a month and his luggage is always getting banged around. This is the first hard-sided luggage we've used. It's a gorgeous grey color and at 20" it meets regulations as a carry on bag. The wheels are 360 degree spinners so the case is easy to move and doesn't get "stuck" like some others sometimes do. I love that it has 2 separate compartments in the main area that can be separated with a zipper. This keeps our belongings from shifting all over the place in transit. We also love that there is a side pocket so you can set up a power bank that can be easily accessed from the outside via USB. It also has a combination lock that meets airline requirements. If you are looking for a hard sided bag, that will hold up and has a few extra bells and whistles, this is the luggage for you.
