Q: Is the bottom of the laptop compartment sufficiently padded? Many laptop bags with a "padded" sleeve for some reason don't pad the bottom which takes the most abuse.

i bought this a few weeks ago and the end of the first week, strings and threads came undone but not enough to make the bag fall apart at least :/ besides that it holds up pretty well and is comfortable for a commuting college student

Was a hard decision for me between the 6752, the 2769, and the 5358. Am really pleased with the 6752. Ample space, solid core, sturdy body, stays upright, and is lightweight. Very comfortable. The only thing I would change is the following: 1) side straps would make them lower, because the main hatch when open, the zippers go below the straps, causing delays when attempting to quickly close and move on. 2) Probably with all bags, but the sunglass hatch is bulky, and interferes with items when attempting to place them in the main hatch. Other than those minor things, the bag is sturdy, feels good, breaths well, and expect to have it for many years. Now I will buy the 5358 on sale, and have a great second option. Cheers!

The main compartment zipper broke within three months of use by a 12 year old. For the price, it should have lasted a lot longer. Swiss Gear is warrantied for 3 years, but my warranty claim has been ignored for weeks. I don't recommend. (On the other hand, my husband's Swiss Gear has lasted for years).

Well organized pockets for everything needed on airplane trips. Sunglass specific pocket to protect glasses from getting smashed, laptop/ipad protection pocket in back roomy enough for additional items. Nice big front pocket for everything from light jacket/extra clothes to makeup bag, book etc. nice small side and front pockets for AirPods, pens, charging cords, etc. all without huge bulk.

I've had this exact backpack for many years. I had it all through college and now almost a decade later I still use it for travel. It is spacious, comfortable, and durable. My most favorite thing about this backpack is the shoulder straps because they're padded and reinforced. Even when I was hauling textbooks, notebooks, a laptop, etc I didn't feel like I was wrecking my back. My husband borrows my backpack when he travels because the laptop compartment is actually large enough for his massive gaming laptop. I don't have anything negative to say about this backpack. Highly recommend it to all!

I was looking for a backpack that would hold up during my son’s high school years. Going with a brand that has a history of being good quality was of high priority for me. However this bag definitely disappointed! The zippers started breaking within approximately 5 months and by 6 months the bag was completely unusable. Definitely expected more from this backpack.
