A: The 6qt T-fal Secure Aluminium Pressure Cooker is not recommended for canning mason jars. Use a pressure canner designed for safe canning.instead!

Q: I bought this cooker from Target but it releases steam from the sides of the lid and handle. It doesn't look right and I'd like to confirm if it shouldn't do that. I also recorded a video to show it better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the better pressure cookers I have used. Very heavy and well made. Can fit a good amount of stuff inside. Cleans up well. If I could change anything, the design of the lid is difficult to use. I struggle getting it lined up to put back on.

A thirty minute pressure cook is like an 10 hr stock boil where the meat falls off the bone. It is easy to clean and it pretty easy to use with it's safety features

It can handle the higher temperatures needed for canning, and it's durable and easy to use. I can do everything one-handed! Cleaning is a breeze, making dinners much easier. The instructions are easy to follow and I like that the handle automatically locks the lid in place when you close it. Also, the pot surface seems to keep food from sticking as much as some others.
