My son is absolutely thrilled with this hair taming gel! One of the standout features for us is that it's not overly sticky, and it dries to a firm finish without making his hair feel hard or uncomfortable. Considering he has sensitivities to certain textures, this is quite impressive—he doesn’t mind touching his hair at all. He's been watching all his friends sport spiked hairstyles and has been eagerly asking to try it out himself. After using this gel, I can confidently say it works wonderfully. We used this gel to hold back fly aways during a youth musical theatre performance, especially on the younger actors. It held pretty well throughout the two hour show but it did have a small bit of white residue and left more of a greasy texture afterward.

This is a kid-friendly gel that will help to tame frizz and define curls. This is good to smooth down flyaways. Helps to smooth the hair for ponytails or baby hairs. Easy to wash out with shampoo. It is a 2.7 oz bottle and you squeeze it out to control how much you want to use.

I really like the T is for Tame hair taming gel. It really helps hair stay in place. It's on the thicker side, but doesn't leave hair feel really sticky and doesn't leave a film in the hair. This taming gel is perfect for kids and adults. It really helped with my fly away hairs. There is no scent to this gel

This hair gel is the best I have used for my sons. It has a light smooth texture to it. It holds the hair in place without being stiff. Does not leave any residue. Has a very light vanilla scent. I do wish that it came in a larger size but you do not need to use much. I would recommend.

A little sticky but this gel really tames my little girls hair without leaving greasy residue. I think I would prefer if the packaging came in a tub vs the tube because its a little hard to squeeze out which is the reason that I am removing 1 star from my rating. It doesn't leave her hair hard and overall is a great formula!

I am a fan of the T is for Tame, taming gel. This product is formulated in the US with no harsh ingredients and chemicals. I like how the gel is thick and clear. I use it to style my 5 year olds hair and he doesn’t complain that it’s stick or hard after drying. I have to admit that I also use it to slick by my fly away hairs. The smell is nice too.

Taming gel is a super go with my kids I like the way it held.. It wasn't sticky or flaky it kept my kids hair soft and held their hair in place.. The smell is fine it is quite thick you almost think it should have been in a jar instead. Still I would grab this gel again.

Our daughter is notorious for fly-aways in her hair and trying to tame her ponytails in near impossible. The gel really seems to hold everything in place without making it hard or sticky. It has a gentle smell that doesn’t upset little noses.

This gel works very well. I tried it on my hair and I also tried it on my little one’s hair. The taming gel isn’t too sticky but it still does a good job of keeping the frizz in my hair down to a minimum.

It has a light coconut scent which I am fine with but you or your kids might not be. For me it is too thick and tacky, definitely need very wet hair and probably wet hands to be able to work it into the hair.

Teen girl loves this product for her slick down look. She tried it in her hair right away and it gave her the look she wanted with no left over residue or flakes. She reported it held well all day and wasn’t over firm or uncomfortable.

This taming gel is just that, a taming gel. It does not have a strong hold, nor does it leave the hair feeling hard. I like it but do sometimes wish it would last longer with the taming. My daughter has curly hair and her baby hairs can get a little wild, so it works to tame them, but I feel it doesn't last all day. I will say I prefer more for my 14 month old.

I used this taming gel for my 9 year old son to style his Mohawk. I like that this gel doesn’t have any harsh chemical ingredients. Vanilla sent is very pleasant and light. It is very easy to use and apply, and my fingers are not sticky after application. The gel goes on pretty smoothly and dries quickly. However, it wasn’t very effective at keeping the hold for a long periods of time. By the time my son gets home from school, his Mohawk is no longer styled.

My son is always needing something in his hair so it isn’t sticking out all the time. This product is great and for kids and smells great. It has no harsh ingredient la and is paraben and sulfate free. Does not feel sticky and yucky and he can apply himself.

Smooth and taming. It is not sticky or heavy. This is one of the few creams that leaves absolutely no residue! And it smells so good. Wish it was a larger tube and less pricey. A great product, will buy again.

This taming gel is not great for fly away hair. The gel doesn’t leave residue but it doesn’t tame fly away hair. My daughter uses this gel only for her curls, so it does help keep her curls nice after it is washed. The scent is lightweight, it smells good like a light vanilla, honey lotion. It is a bit sticky, need to wash hand after use.
