Targus 65W USB-C Charger

I’m on my 3rd charger and just got it 5 days ago it’s been working fine until one day it doesn’t charge anymore the outlets work that I’m plugging into and there isn’t a warranty that I was able to pay extra for

wouldn't recommend. cable itself is shoddy at best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a charger with a longer cord for my Galaxy tablet so I can conveniently use it while charging. This charger offers fast charging for both my tablet and phone, but if you intend to use it for your laptop I would suggest going for a 90W charger instead for better performance. I like how snuggly the cable fits into the port and stays connected even with some force. The adapter is very compact and the cable comes with a Velcro tie so you can neatly store it in your drawer or fit in your bag when traveling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great charger for our MacBook Air, which is the latest model with the Apple M1 chip. It has a sturdy and high-quality feel to it, was immediately recognized by the laptop, and did not heat up at all. I especially appreciate the latter, as third party charges we have purchased in the past got very warm (enough to make me worried about it!). I am not surprised, as Targus is a very good name that I have come to trust.

I like the detached sync-and-charge USB-C cable makes it very portable and avoids breaking in the wire. I like that I can take this around in my purse without adding unnecessary weight. I look forward to using this a lot more as C ports are becoming more common with newer devices. The charge speed seems to be average so far, nothing extremely fast nor slow. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this charger/ ac adapter on my new Macbook Air (M1 Chip) and it does the job nicely. I can get a full charge in less than two hours and am good to go. It doesn't seem to overheat like a lot of after market chargers will. My main complaint would be the general design. It is like your typical AC adapter (though perhaps a bit smaller) whereas I am used to what Apple provides. Apple provides a sleek, one cable charger that plugs direct into the wall with the USB-C cable running to the laptop. This is your standard design with the AC unit running one cable to the wall and the USB-C cable to the laptop, leaving the awkward, clunky unit dangling somewhere in between. This is only a minor complaint since this is pretty much a standard design, but having gotten used to my Apple charger, this a lot less streamlined. It isn't much of an issue as I am using it as a permanent charger plugged into my home office. I really would prefer not to use this as my portable charger as it is just too many cables to haul around compared to Apple's. Still, it is good quality.

This charger is great to leave at my house and wired into my desk. That way I can keep one at home and one in my bag. I have experienced no issues and it charges quickly while also looking sleek. The big part of the charger is in the middle of the cord instead of attached to the part where you plug it into the wall which I find better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed an extra laptop charger and having a USB-C charger is useful to have on hand over a traditional barrel style charger because it can be used for multiple laptops and other USB-C devices. The cable is plenty long enough to reach from my floor outlet to my desk. I like that it comes with straps to easily shorten the wires when needed and to store away for travel. The construction seems sturdy, so I don't have to worry about the wires bending too much and cracking with use. The downside is that it is not particularly small but the built in supply protection and the ability to use it with numerous devices make it worth the size.

This charger also charges my phone about the same if not faster the my original charger. It's a great buy and would definitely recommend.

I easily charged the laptop and my phone with no issues. The USB-C connection was solid and stayed in while charging. The charger appears to be durable, yet very light. I anticipate the charger will last a long time. It also has all the safety features I could want with over voltage, over current, and over temperature protection. Another nice touch is that both cables have straps for cable management, which comes in handy for easy transport on the go. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As we all move to a USB-C type of charger, we all need an overall/general charger that just works. The Targus 65W charger is that for me. I am able to charge my MacBook Pro 13 at a faster rate than what they included in the box. My Nintendo Switch also charges way faster, less than an hour until full charge (the charger they included claims 3 hours). The only issue I have with this is that it's bulky to pack when you're traveling, but otherwise -- it's perfect!

One key feature that is different than most other charges is the fact that there is a Velcro strap for both cords. It's simple but genious for someone like me who takes my charger everywhere. I like to have it orderly and the straps help with that nicely. As far as the functionality goes. This charges just as good as the charger that came with my computer. The cord is very durable and does seem that it will last for a long time. No complaints here!
