Q: Will it turn off after it reaches the desired temperature and then back on when it gets too hot?

A: If in ECO model the fan and compressor will turn off when the desired temperature is reached and turn back on when it warms up. If ECO mode is not enabled the fan will remain on and the compressor will turn off and on as needed to keep the desired temperature. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

I finally bought a new window air conditioner after 15+ years of using an older one...and let me tell you...this air conditioner is fantastic. Not too loud, keeps my room nice and cool, eco mode option is awesome, AND it has a remote...like, girl what? I must've been living in the dark ages because I've never seen an AC with a remote and now i can control this thing while I'm in my bed.

The air conditioner just stopped working briefly while running for a few hours a couple days after I purchased it. I did not return it hoping that would not happen again but that was a mistake because about three weeks after purcasing this TCL air conditioner it completely stopped working so it's basically a dead air conditioner. I will return to store.

The unit is loud even on low. Also rhe vents do not move side to side to direct the air in a different direction. The only option is straight out of the top, so one side of the room is cold the other not so much.

I bought this a/c unit for my bedroom and it keeps my bedroom like a freezer at 61 and really comfortable at 69/70 degrees. I love the eco because when it gets to the temperature that you set it at the a/c unit stops until it goes above the temperature and goes back to cooling.

I grabbed this little a/c during a heat wave. The box says it cools 250sq ft, but it cools down 950sq ft without issue! Easy to assemble. Easy to install. Great price through Target. Not too noisy. Love the remote and eco friendly features. Would definitely buy again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this to review from Influenster and gave it a month to test it out and it’s really easy to install, very small and compact for my apartment. Compared to my old AC this one is slightly less noisy but at a reasonable level. I have two bedroom and it has a strong airflow to go around and cool my whole apartment. I love the eco button to help with the energy Efficiency and overall I’d highly recommend this AC unit for small apartments

Well it would be great and strong if it blew air out of booth vents… brand new out of the box and it only blows air out of the left side. I will call support in the morning and if nothing works then return it. This shouldn’t be an issue but here we are. So ridiculous

Called TCL because the right filler screen had a tare in it. They were NOT helpful at all regarding a small replacement part. Good thing the air conditioning unit seems to work OK. Would not purchase that brand again.Not sure they would back up their own product.
