A: We recommend keeping our liquid bait out of reach of pets. The ingredients are borax, sugar, and water. Any medical concerns should be directed to a veterinarian.

Q: Are these affected by high temperatures such as 100 degrees or will they just dry up
A: Once temperatures reach 120-130 degrees the sugar could crystallize and harden from the extreme heat

A: This product is not recommended for carpenter ants.

A: These can be used at the base of plants.

Q: How long do the stakes last before needing to be replaced? We live in Ohio if that makes a difference.
A: These ant bait stations should be changed when there is no bait left in them. As long as the liquid bait is still in liquid form, it should be effective, but we recommend changing your stations after two years.

A: The stakes should be kept out of reach of non-target animals such as cats and dogs.
