Made from peat extract and barley straw extract, this formula releases beneficial humic acids to help keep pond water clear. This convenient liquid replaces messy barley bales. TetraPond Barley & Peat Extract maintains the natural beauty of ponds and waterfalls and reduces pond maintenance. It is safe for fish and live plants when used as directed in ornamental outdoor ponds.
Use one capful (10 mL) of TetraPond Barley & Peat Extract for every 50 gallons of water. To calculate pond gallons, use the following formulas: length in feet x width in feet x average depth in feet = cubic feet; cubic feet x 7.5 = pond gallons. Pour dosage into the pond along the edges to distribute the solution evenly throughout the pond. Re-dose every 4 weeks to maintain clear water; use more frequently if water becomes unclear or cloudy.
