It is a pricy conditioner. You are definitely paying for the name. It is an okay conditioner and it doesn’t really leave my hair super soft. Id say do more research about the chemicals in the product.

Recall using Paul Mitchell since the Salon off Peachtree in Buckhead, Atlanta, Ga 1990 with Freeze & Shine my favorite then. Love The Detangler, the scent and immediate smoothness of my hair as growing longer for 6 months now and looking so forward to more growth.

I wish they also made this as a leave in conditioner (spray) for non hair wash days . My hair is fine and rough (naturally dry on top of color treated) and this is the only conditioner that works for me. I love the smell and texture of this and the shine it gives your hair! I usually use the Awapuhi Spray on non wash days but needs a more conditioning effect.

My daughter has a super tender head, and often times detangling her hair can be difficult. We starting using this Paul Mitchell detangler in the shower, and distribute the product with a detangling shower brush. It has made a huge difference in eliminating knots (and tears), plus, it makes her hair softer and less frizzy.

I like using this for my tangles I have thick wavy hair so I get alot of tangles especially when I get out of the shower and its drying so this helps make it easier to get those tangles out this product smells nice to I love any Paul mitchell products especially the serums to id recommend and would buy again

My daughter and I have wavy/curly crazy hair that easily tangles. Using this product on my daughters hair made the brushing time way less stressful. It’s a bit pricey in my opinion. I have found others that work as well for a lot cheaper. No bad smell.

I have a lot of fine hair (never colored), which was getting dry and tangled to the point of frustration. I recently tried this conditioner, and That+ original awaphui shampoo (which I have used for a while) have been impressive--total reversal of some hay-like texture + tangle bundles at the nape of my neck, lots of shine w/out feeling heavy. I may have found my holy grail shampoo and conditioner. Thank you.

I have really really curly hair because I am half white and half black. So it’s not kinky curly but it’s extremely thick. I need a detangler every time I do my hair or I will pull so much out. This defiantly saved my hair a few times !

I have 4c hair and it gets tangled soo easily but honestly I love Paul Mitchel for my hair because it smooths & detangles my hair effortlessly. I have bought this shampoo and others multiple times over and will continue to do so.
