Many years ago, I bought Dr. Burns' book, Feeling Good. I read part of it, utilizing some of the cognitive therapy techniques successfully. Recently, after becoming aware of the fact that I was suffering from depression, I dug out the book and read it cover to cover. Working through all the easy to use examples, my depression has lifted. I purchased the workbook and plan to work through it as well. I would recommend this book to anyone who suspects that he or she is depressed.
