Thank you for your feedback on our Glow On & Sparkle Bobby Pins. Based on your feedback, our stylist recommends holding the front end of the pin slightly open with your fingers while sliding it into place. Do the same thing when removing, hold the front end of the pin slightly open as you slide the pin out. Be careful not to pull the pin ends apart too much to avoid stretching out the pin. We hope this helps.
