The Hair Edit Sleek Chignon French Hair Pin - Gold

I have slightly beach wavy, fine, thin, dry hair and I can never get these things to stay in! I was finally able to get a bun to last for several hours with this bad boy. I was worried that this would be too heavy for my hair but it turns out thats exactly what I needed. The weight of the metal helps hold the shape of the style unlike the cheaper, more bendy plastic ones. I think the matte finish also adds to the grip of it. I love it and use it almost every day now and I can't wait to get better at using them!

I ordered the gold hair clip and was surprised with the quality. My hair is thin, but the clip stays in and looks great!

Love this pin. I have fine, very straight hair and like to put my hair up. I am very sick of clips and hair ties as they hurt my head and I always end up with a headache. This works, you just need to watch YouTube. I had no idea what I was doing and literally one YouTube vid later it looks so lovely and holds my hair together whether damp or dry. Also love the matte finish as it just looks expensive and very subtle and nice. Great quality.

Absolutely awful. I’ve tried so many combinations and nothing worked to keep my hair up. It slides right off! Not for fine & smooth, straight hair for sure.

This is the first hair pin I have purchased. I wanted something simple, yet pretty, to pull my hair back for a wedding. I watched a couple short videos on YouTube to understand how to use it. Naturally, my hair is straight and fine and most of my hair fell out of the pin. When I used texture spray and hairspray in my hair to style it for the wedding, the pin stayed in place the entire night.

I love the idea of this pin so much, but my hair is so thick that it bent the prongs out of shape. I would recommend this to someone with thinner hair, but if it’s thick you might want to try something more sturdy.

I love to have my hair pulled back, but don’t want to use bands, as they pull too tight. This pin provides an elegant and easy solution. I have fine, shoulder-length hair, so the pin doesn’t want to stay in if my hair is freshly washed. If I use a dry shampoo or a texture spray of some kind, it holds pretty well.

The pin itself was nice and strong and had a good weight and grip. The paint/coating on the pin didn't hold up well. It wore off in some places, I'm assuming from hair products, and chipped off in others after going in my makeup bag.

It's very sturdy. Although I Absolutely recommend it, I also have to say that in my opinion it works best in thicker hair and hair with texture.

While there is a slight learning curve with this, with a few tutorial videos and some patience, I was able to get the hang of it. The pin itself was a pretty matte gold color and sturdy.

It was a bit sturdy in regard to holding it back but I would not wear it to workout or anything like that.
