A: There are no sulfates in any products made by Honest Company. I always stay away from products with sulfates.

Q: The label says if contact with eyes to rinse with water immediately, but the highlights on the page say, "No-tears formula makes this shampoo, and body combo easy on baby's eyes." Is this safe if it gets in the baby's eyes?

Q: Trying to purchase a "biodegradable" shampoo and soap for youth outdoor camp. I'm not sure how to determine what is/is not biodegradable. Are Honest shampoos biodegradable? All Honest products?

Please read reviews before buying. I didn’t and quickly realized it is not tear free (caused immediate pain in my kids eyes), and is extremely drying to the skin. Within days of using this product, my kids skin dried up and was visibly ashy. Would not recommend.

If I could give it a zero I would. My baby has chronic eczema due to this shampoo. I didn’t realize that this shampoo was causing little bumps on his skin and now his eyes look so puffy and dry. They itch their eyes and head aggressively. Definitely do not recommend for infants or children under 6.

Have used this brand for years with my daughter and even myself! The shampoo/body wash is our favorite because it has a lovely scent and is very calming. It also has great ingredients and no fragrance which is important because my daughter has eczema and it has worked great for her.

This wash is extremely drying to the skin and gave my baby eczema. I switched to cerave baby and his skin has returned to normal. He also got some in his eyes and screamed in pain. It’s not tear free!!!

I love this shampoo it smells like real lavender oil but in a light way. My husband is sensitive to smells and can actually stand this one, in fact he likes it. It also feels so clean on my kids hair. I’ve been using this product since they were babies.

This shampoo smells great, not as effective at cleaning littles. It also doesn't create many bubbles and is less effective when working out tangled hair. I love that it has clean ingredients for my toddler, but I wish it cleaned better, especially after days playing in dirt.

I never leave reviews, but after years of trying to find a shampoo that doesn't give me rashes after showering I finally found one! I've tried all of the "natural" shampoos, one brand was working until they changed the ingredients... I gave this a shot and it works amazing, paired with the conditioner it left my hair so soft! And the best part is no more rashes, I would get rashes after showering with shampoo and they'd go away after 1hr or so but I hated it so I finally found a shampoo that works for me. It lathers well and smells amazing

Writing this review as my daughter is in the shower now screaming from pain from this shampoo and conditioner set, saying it's burning her eyes. I'm so glad I never used this on my baby this is insane, don't market this to children under 6 years old.

I created an account just to review this and hopefully help someone. This product burns eyes. If you don’t believe me mix some with water in your hand and test it in your eyes before you make the mistake I did and traumatize your child. Marketing this as tear-free is criminal and I would love to speak to whoever thought that was appropriate in person. I have been burning my child’s eyes almost her whole life and just found out when she started freaking out at shampoo time, I hate myself and Honest for this. Please avoid this and if you purchase try it first to make sure. First time dad here made a horrible mistake because of false advertising. Ironic it’s called “Honest”. Never buying an honest product again. Who knows what else is false.
