The Honest Kitchen Grain Free Beef and Chicken Recipe Wet Cat Food - Case of 12/5.5 oz

I am so happy I found this company! I recently switched to the chicken clusters kibble, and wanted to find a healthy pate for my cat as well. She absolutely has loved both! She is a pickier wet food eater, so I was anxious to see how she would like this food, but as soon as I put it in her bowl, she gobbled it all up! I am so happy I found this company and this healthier wet food for her going forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat loves this food and it has helped his fur go from greasy to nice and soft. He has ended up being a picky eater and he cant eat enough of this food. Also a great bonus that it is made with some healthy ingredients.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat barfed it all up the first two meals, which were only about a quarter cup. We went to just a spoonful with kibble and he keeps it down. Not a fan of the aseptic packaging as there's no easy way to cover leftovers like with a can. i think we'll freeze it in spoonfuls and just plop out a glob at a time .

I received a 12 pack 5.5 Oz. chicken and beef on 10/4/24, but the “ best before date was Feb 2024. That’s 8 months past the date!!! Really I expected more from “Honest Kitchen” especially at the cost of $4.60 for 5 oz cat food. I debated about giving it 1 or 2 stars. At the end I decided on 2 stars only because my cat eat it all up. Plus, it’s not worth my time to do the return!

My cat had elevated liver enzymes and was put on antibiotics and steroids when he then developed steroid induced diabetes and then was constipated for 4 months! He was only pooping once per week for 4 months. Through a recommendation from a veterinary acupuncturist, I researched and started looking for a new diet for him and found that Honest Kitchen cleared the constipation and he has been playing with his toys again like a kitten. He is now 15 yrs old. He loves the beef & chicken recipe. Thank you for helping my little boy. Very grateful that I found this food.

Her poop smell had become less strong, specially when she eats this kind of human grade kind of food. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the beef/chicken cate and the salmon/cod cate; of the two, my cat seems to object less to the beef/chicken. I can't get her to eat the salmon/cod meals at all. We have been offering the new food for about a week, just small-to-medium amounts along with her usual food. I had high hopes for success with these products, but that hasn't been the case, at least not so far.

We tried these out a few months back with a sample case and he definitely has his favorites but he really loves the Beef & Chicken. He love that is is a really moist pate. I Love that it is an easy open easy close tetra pack. its a win win situation!
