The Honest Kitchen Grain Free Turkey Recipe Dog Food - 10 lbs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dogs like it but too much fiber for us, personally, so have to serve it as just part of their diet in our case.

We alternate between Grain Free Chicken and Grain Free Turkey to keep our pups taste buds active. The turkey seems to be a bit better in terms of ingredients, more greens. Highly recommend for Dalmatians as Dals need diets low in foods that are high in purines.

My 4 year old Frenchie has horrible food allergies and this formula has everything he can eat in it and he loves it!!

We decided to give chemo a try but it made her so sick she refused to eat anything (no more chemo for her). For days I tried everything I could think of. She would run away from her favorite things and her usual excited tail wags at mealtime were gone. Until I tried Honest Kitchen dehydrated meals. I started with the grain free chicken and now the turkey. She LOVES it. She hops up and down as I’m preparing it. I don’t know how much longer we have with her but I truly believe this food has given us more time than we would have had before.

The food is loved by my picky little Yorkie. She is one that is very fussy about her food. She prefers it warm so it’s easy to make portion size 1:4 cup servings for her meals.

I have 2 dogs. My smaller dog liked it at first then she changed her mind. My larger dog didn’t like the thick consistency but once I made it more soup like he found it easier to eat and he likes it. The consistency isn’t like other dog food so it took time to adjust to it. I’m going to try the dry kernels next.

My dogs live long and healthy lives and I know The Honest Kitchen Dehydrated, Dog Food plays a big roll.

I don't have time to cook but want my dogs to have excellent nutrition and the honest kitchen fits the bill.

This is my go-to Honest Kitchen recipe for my two Shih Tzus. I highly recommend this product as it keeps my two girls happy and I'm sure saves money on vet visits because they stay very healthy. Thankl you, Honest Kitchen!

Been moving toward dehydrated to help my 10 yoa mixed breed with digestion. He’s had trouble with various brands/flavors/types of dog food since we adopted him at 4 months old. This is truly the first time his waste has been completely normal - no films, not overly soft, not overly hard, no odd colors, and very consistent in timing of waste breaks. To top that off, went from dehydrated beef to dehydrated turkey with zero transition - not one singe issue. Though, to be fair, I had the same experience changing flavors of clusters before moving to dehydrated. Pretty sure I’ve become a lifelong customer of the honest kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently just switched my 4 year old shih tzu to this dehydrated dog food. After a couple of days of him eating the dog food I noticed he started to pee more frequently and took him to the vet. It turns out he has struvite crystals. They provided pills (thinking it was an infection), but it ended up being his diet. Which means it had to come from him eating this dog food. There are two reasons I didn't give this a one star. The first reason being my shih tzu seemed to enjoy the flavor and eating the food (my dog could also just be sensitive to certain food). The second reason is, I also have a puppy she is 7 months old and is a pugapoo. She doesn't seem to be having any of the problems my shih tzu is having, but I'm still keeping my eye on her just incase. I'm not trying to say this will cause problems for others dogs; I'm just sharing what happened to my dog.

I switch between the Turkey and Chicken recipe and my pup has no issue with the switch. She's always happy with her food.
