They were getting bored of their dry premium dog food and we wanted to make life more exciting for them. . . as long at it was healthy. Our friend told us about HK and we decided to try the dehydrated chicken whole grain. It is space saving, easy to prepare and the dogs love it. They are still in transitional period so we mix. We are very happy we tried this product and will be testing out some of the other 'flavors' to see what our fur babies like best. Highly recommend. BTW, great for traveling with your dog due to the space saving nature of dehydrated!!!

This was no different. It was easy to make and he loved it! It made him lick his lips! I appreciated that there are no fillers or artificial ingredients and that it is, in fact, human grade. It is definitely a product that will go in his food rotation!

We all know the truth about kibble now. I have never seen my dogs go soon crazy like they do for this food. The honest kitchen has been a saving grace of many dogs we rescue. 5 stars all day!

This just looks like canned paste. My dog did not like it like the one we had before. Should show what it looks like once water is added. Not sure my humane society would even use this but will ask or throw out!

I am very picky about what I feed my dog and pay attention to nutrition labels and ingredients the same way I do for food for myself and family. I was satisfied with the list of ingredients and I felt good about letting my dog try this food. I actually packed it with us when we went on vacation, figuring our little guy would enjoy a “special treat” after the long drive! This was really easy to make for him and he devoured it. This is something I would feel good about feeding him regularly, however when I looked on the website to consider ordering I felt like it was quite a bit more expensive than what I was expecting. So we will see.

The second test was see how it impacts his bathroom habits. So far, no issues. Good quality highly palatable human grade food. I’m looking forward to trying other proteins, as well.

I also love that I can take it with me when traveling since it is dehydrated. This way, my dogs can have a delicious dinner without the need to bring wet or fresh food with me.

My dog who is a 70lb german shephard mutt really enjoyed having it on top of his usual food. it was a great treat for him. However it was also a lot of extra calories for him which is something we are reguarlly keeping an eye on. So this will continue to just be a treat for him, and his food topper will be green beans instead.

The dog completely gobbled up every last bit of the bagged The Honest Kitchen food. The smell wasn't overwhelming when I opened the package and the package itself was very nice and sturdy. The dog had no side effects, he absolutely lived it and wanted more! I highly recommend this meal for any animal lover the Honest Kitchen created a great product that was completely bputishing to my friends dog.
