This is not at all for a dog larger then 20 pounds

My small dog is older and can't jump up to sit on the couch anymore. This is working great. He needs to be encouraged to use it - like he's afraid of it, but he does use it. It's very soft but sturdy. Lightweight. I like it!

I elevated my mattress so it now sits pretty high about 4 feet from the floor so now it’s higher for my cat and puppy to jump up/ down on. It’s much easier for them to use this instead of them whining in the middle of the night. They were skeptical about using it but we did guide them on it so they now use it instead of waiting on their Royal subject to lift them! It’s sturdy and not mushy or too soft- our pets are 10 & 17 lbs so it holds their weight without falling over or sinking as they walk. Definitely a great buy. Works well for my 12 year old 6lb chihuahua.

This was the best thing for my little Maltese to be able to go up and down when ever she wants on the couch. Didn't take her long to figure it out!

These might be ok if you have a small, light weight dog.They did not work for our beagle.

I bought these dog stairs, and let me tell you, my pup now thinks he’s the king of the castle! He scales them like a mountain goat, while I’m left wondering how my couch became Everest. These stairs are great for my dog. She's an older dog and she has a a hard time jumping on and off the couch and these stairs are a great help for her. They are well made and sturdy and a nice size so when she's on them I don't have to worry she's going to fall off the sides. I highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cocker spaniel mix slipped a disc while running up stairs and to help her spine heal and prevent further damage we have been using pet stairs in our home to assist her with getting on the couch and bed. These are sturdy to where she is comfortable going up and down, easy to clean, and lightweight so they can be moved throughout areas of the house. I recommend them if you have a pet with arthritis, IVDD, or an injury.

As she's getting older she's been having a different time jumping on and off the couch (he favorite thing to do to window watch). These stairs have helped her from not falling and/or just sitting there wining because she can't get up. These are durable enough that I don't feel the need to worry when I'm not in there with her. The stairs are wide enough she can pause for a minute if needed and not worry about falling off. Great quality and would definitely recommend if your animals are having a hard time

Neat staircase for my doggie. My dog is elderly and loves to be on the couch. These stairs help her to get up and down without my assistance. Just the right height. Good material. Nicely made. Steps are perfect height for the couch.

It's so much better for her to be able to climb up and down instead of jumping and putting strain on her little body.
