This is not at all for a dog larger then 20 pounds

My small dog is older and can't jump up to sit on the couch anymore. This is working great. He needs to be encouraged to use it - like he's afraid of it, but he does use it. It's very soft but sturdy. Lightweight. I like it!

I elevated my mattress so it now sits pretty high about 4 feet from the floor so now it’s higher for my cat and puppy to jump up/ down on. It’s much easier for them to use this instead of them whining in the middle of the night. They were skeptical about using it but we did guide them on it so they now use it instead of waiting on their Royal subject to lift them! It’s sturdy and not mushy or too soft- our pets are 10 & 17 lbs so it holds their weight without falling over or sinking as they walk. Definitely a great buy. Works well for my 12 year old 6lb chihuahua.

This was the best thing for my little Maltese to be able to go up and down when ever she wants on the couch. Didn't take her long to figure it out!

These might be ok if you have a small, light weight dog.They did not work for our beagle.

I am in love with these stairs! Next step, to get my dog to use them!

The steps are nice material wise but the steps are so narrow even for my little shihtzu and the foam is so lightweight they move when she tries to use them. Now she even refuses to try.

The steps are NOT as wide as they appear. The depth is about 3". My dog just looks at it as I'm sure he'd fall off trying to get up or down the stairs.

I wish I had read the comments first. The step depth is indeed very very narrow. My small dogs won't ever try to use it. The cat might like it but the cat doesn't need it. I am returning item unused.

The steps are very very narrow, May for. Very small dog. I have a dog just like the one pictured and there is no way she can use these steps.

I was disappointed with these steps. My dog wouldn't use them even after coaxing with treats. I'll give them away to someone with a smaller dog

My Dachshunds were not sure at first about using it. But, when they did, the 4 steps were so much easier for them to get up on the couch. I have two seniors and this is so prefect for them.

I bought it for our dog who injured her back from jumping off the bed. I tried it and our dog didn't.like it. It is too short and the steps are too narrow

The steps for the pets are amazing! I bought two! They match the couch as well as bed height perfectly, great for for my elder cats!!

Have purchased several of these in both sizes for different areas of our home. Our older cats and the ones who have missing/deformed limbs love using them. They are now able to get up on the bed or couch with ease. Happy cats! Quality is up to the wear and tear that our cats dish out. Also - cover can be removed for washing! Would purchase again.
