Q: So are u meant to put sunscreen after or before?

submitted by Toby - 10 months ago
  • A: You’re supposed to put sunscreen after using this product it’s like you put sunscreen after using all other skincare product.

submitted byMarjahan - 4 months ago
  • A: Hey, Day routine should always have sunscreen last. Night routine , moisturizers are last.

submitted byKW - 9 months ago
  • A: After. In almost every situation sunscreen should be the last item of your beauty routine.

submitted byCate - 8 months ago

Q: Is it best/meant to be put all over the face or just on acne spots and blemishes?

submitted by em - 7 months ago
  • A: All over your face. I apply it at night after I apply my vitamin c & 3% hylaronic acid and before my moisturizer. It helps so much with my acne & even my acne marks. My 14 yr old uses it too.

submitted byMS - 4 months ago

Q: Should I apply in morning or at night or both? If morning, should I apply moisturiser after this? Same question for night routine

submitted by Keyuri - 7 months ago
  • A: Moisturizer is always last, for the morning though you’d put moisturizer and then spf, but I’m ngl I always forget spf (which is not good at all). If you have spf then your morning routine would end with moisturizer and then spf, but at night (or if you don’t have spf for the morning) your last step is moisturizer

Q: Is this good for rosacea?

submitted by Karen - 2 years ago
  • A: YES! Mine is gone! And it didn't take long either.

Q: Does it help with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation?

I have rosacea and hear good things about azelaic acid for redness. I couldn't tell with the redness since my face is tan but my face felt so soft and smooth

Purchased this twice, with the first one I felt like it finished pretty fast, when I opened the second one I noticed right away that the bottle was almost empty.. like a bag of chips. Will purchase my azelaic acid from a different brand henceforth.

I absolutely loved the ordinary's azelaic acid formula! As an acne-prone brown girl (who is also prone to hyperpigmentation left by post-acne scars), I see a vast difference in my skin texture, pores, brightness and fading hyperpigmentation on weeks I use this cream. I've even tried the Paula's choice azelaic acid (which is maybe more than 3-4x times the price of this one) but have noticed wayyy better results with TO's formula. I have been repurchasing this since 2021 and the formula has honestly been pretty consistent (maybe even better?). Tried every acne treatment under the sun and this definitely is at the top. You don't need too much product either to see results (I personally notice it in a day or two) - just use it consistently for 2 weeks. Use it before moisturizer AM & PM. Follow it up with sunscreen in the AM.

I bought this to help with dark spots and dull skin but this dried out my skin so badly. Definitely only use if you have oily skin.

I have dry skin, acne & rosacea. I've added this to my daily skin care to help with the redness. I use a prescription topical cream that wasn't cutting it alone for my rosacea, but with this added to everything - my skin finally is glowing!

I bought this thinking i would give it a try, but it just did not work for me. I put it on two nights in a row and my face is dried out. I have dark spots around my eyes and my lips because of dry skin and this product made it worse. I used this in combination with a serum also from ordinary and i do not wear makeup. This product made my skin feel very sensitive.

The bottle was mostly air. That is disappointing. If you are only going to sell such a small amount-make the bottle size reflect that.

I have been using this product faithfully for 2 and a half years, always applying it as the last step in my routine directly after applying moisturizer. The change is it has made is incredible. I have always been self-conscious about my overly red face, but since I incorporated this product into my routine I RARELY have to worry about redness.

I used up the tube and saw no changes. Previously I had the same experience with their vitamin C suspension. Not going to buy any more of their products.

This is my go to product to help with rosacea. I get flare ups and bumpy rosacea that looks like acne but isn't and I use this at night after cleansing only on days that my skin needs help and I finally feel like this condition is more under control! Smooths skin, reduces redness the next day. Game changer.

I enjoyed the consistency of this product. It was more of a cream than a suspension or serum. A higher percentage may be needed to get results for lightening dark spots. It didn't seem to give much result

I saw someone use this for acne 'scars'/overall texture. I haven't used it long enough to have input on that because it's winter and this is an acid. It gives your skin a very soft texture after applying. I do feel like I have a glow the AM after.
