If the first two activities need hot glue or white glue, why aren’t they included?

It features 24 individually boxed Christmas crafts you can complete with your child leading up to Christmas. In each box is all the supplies you need to make the craft. This is such a great bonding activity to do with your child! There are pictures and instructions of how to complete each craft as well as a QR code on the side of the box as well! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old daughter gets an advent calendar every year and I thought this was cute since it is right up her alley with the arts and crafts theme. There are definitely pros and cons for this. Some pros are there are a lot of very cute activities that came with the kit and they seem easy to complete. Some cons are that everything needed is not included so you need to be prepared prior in order to do some of the projects. For example, you need a couple toilet paper rolls which is fine but if you don’t read the needed items then some you will not be able to do, I don’t have empty toilet paper rolls laying around . My daughter also doesn’t use a hot glue gun yet or needles and she was freaked out when she opened a couple boxes and saw the needles. So for the most part this was a great idea but for the price more of the necessities should have been included. I received an incentive to write this review.

There are many different crafts which my daughter and I really enjoyed doing together. You need a glue gun to do several of the crafts so make sure you have one handy. Other than that the crafts pretty much come with everything you need. This was a very fun advent calendar. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty fun and unique advent calendar and I think my daughter will really enjoy it. These are each small projects packaged in individual boxes with everything you need to create your own Christmas ornaments. I plan to get her own little Christmas tree to decorate with these DIY ornaments and imagine they would make cute keepsakes or would be super cute to attach to gifts for grandparents and family. I think this is a fun and feasible screen-free activity great for kids who love to craft. I received an incentive to write this review.

If I could give it a zero I would. This is not something for a child. It requires your own hot glue gun almost every box has a bunch of straight pins in it. It’s very unsafe. There were even a bunch of little pom-pom balls with straight pins, mixed all in with the pom-poms. Another hat pieces of felt and the pins were just folded into the material. What little supplies they give you were not safely. packaged. Just asking for an accident to happen.

I don’t recommend this. Be prepared to go out and buy a hot glue gun, sewing pins, etc., etc. which are required for these projects. The projects are only minimally cute, despite all the extra stuff you have to provide. The kids are disappointed. A waste of money.
