A: No, this is not completely waterproof. You cannot put this in the dishwasher but you can rinse the probe under the sink or wipe it off with a damp cloth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little thermometer is such a handy tool to keep in the kitchen utensil drawer! I’ve used it so many times and without fail, it always gives me the temperature super quick but accurately! Something i noticed that my other kitchen thermometers don’t do that this one does is acclimate to the rooms temperature the second you turn it on, so super fast and sensitive to temperature. I say it’s the best kitchen thermometer i’ve ever tried, seems incredibly durable too considering i may have accidentally gotten the entire thing wet several times! (don’t do what i did.. just amazed by its durability!) Thr battery is still going strong as well! All in all, a great kitchen necessity to get your meats cooked perfectly every single time.

This is a nice size (not too large or bulky) and seems to read reliably. My previous thermometer was not digital and having the digital readout is very useful. At this point, it's too new to know how long the batteries will last. I did think that the model I ordered would be all white, but the red and white combo is ok (it does make it easy to spot in the utinsel drawer).

This item seemed great at first but it stopped working after a couple months. The display screen just faded and stopped displaying. We changed the batteries twice and it still did not work. I do not recommend.

I liked that it was small and not big and clunky! However after two uses the battery died. I Replaced batteries and it won’t turn on. Perhaps I got a bad one altogether

Recently I used this product to check the temperature of the ribs we were grilling and they came out perfectly! Usually we resort to cutting the ribs prematurely to check the if they are done but no more. The instructions were clear and I simply washed and used the product. I recommend this product and would purchase as a gift.

Great meat thermometer! I like that it’s not corded to your phone and just a simple meat thermometer. Very easy to use. Has a button to turn the light on it if you’re grilling in the dark. Has a cap for the end so it doesn’t get dirty sitting on your grill in between uses.

This meat thermometer is pretty cool. It’s very simple to use and the instructions were helpful. It seems to work great, and we had no issues getting a reading on the temperature of the meat we cooked. I’m assuming the reading is accurate! It’s a perfect and simple tool that we’ll use for a long time.

This meat thermometer worked exactly as expected. The display was easier to read with the backlight engaged. The reading was fast and accurate for the meat I was testing. As a novice griller, this will be a good addition to my toolkit. Much easier to read than my old meat thermometer with the dial.

This is a good little meat thermometer, it does exactly what it is supposed to! I like the option to have it backlit or not and it's very simple to use. It is nice and compact for easy drawer storage.

This thermometer works great, and the super long probe is convenient to protect you from high heat. (I've used it as a candy thermometer and the super long probe is very useful.) I like the backlit display and that batteries are included. The reading appears to be accurate - I compared it to another thermometer that I have relied on for years, and the readings were within one degree of each other.
