I love using my kirchen thermometer. It is great to check how well your meat is cooked and it always cooks to perfection thanks for this. It is easy to use and quite efficient. Lover all love it and makes cooking easier.

Accurate temperature, but case melted when I used it the first time. So don’t actually cook with it, I guess, even though it’s supposed to be for high-temp cooking like candy and fry oil. No, I didn’t put it in the oven, it was on the side of the pot I was cooking sugar syrup in as designed.

It worked well- very easy to read. The size of the screen is good. Loved that it had all the temp info directly on the thermometer. I just didn’t like the clip at all. It didn’t attach well and kept slipping.

This thermometer is the Mack daddy. It has a long probe and a big dial to make it so easy to read the temp at times. I tested against other thermometers and it was spot on! This product was received for free in exchange for my unbiased review as part of the bullseye program. They are limiting themselves when they say candy as it can do anything in a pot with oil, etc.

On the plus side, this thermometer is long but top heavy. The digital thermometer works great but the clip part could be made better. The clip is needed to keep it from flipping out of the hot ingredients.

Very easy to use and useful cooking thermometer. We have not used it for frying oil or candy making but for normal baking and pan frying. I like how long it is, much safer than the shorter one we had. The display is much bigger than many other cooking thermometers so that makes it easier and faster to use.

I am very pleased with this thermomter. It is a little stiff to clip on the pot but it stays well. The digital temperature reading is very accurate and it has a little backlight that you can turn on and off. I like the candy and oil temperature references that are included under the screen. Those are very helpful. Good value.

Super easy to use! I used this digital thermometer during Thanksgiving to check the temperature on my turkey breast and it worked great! Easy on/off button. The large digital screen is also easy to read and I like the screen lights up. The attachable clip is great to clip on a pot.

This thermometer pen is useful for measuring the temperature of liquids like syrups and oil. I don’t deep fry so I can’t speak to the reliability for this, but the pen worked well when for candy making. I really appreciated the large display since I sometimes struggle to read the small marks on a traditional candy thermometer. The clip is a big help too since you don’t want the probe to touch the bottom or fall in.

Came well packaged when shipped to me. The Thermometer is very easy to use with a long enough steel probe to be used and latched on to large pots. Easy to read fairly large LCD Display that lights up brightly. Reads temps quite fast. Read temps while cooking a pork chop without any trouble. Uses only one rear button to turn on/off or change the degrees from F to C or vice versa. Uses one AAA battery which is very convenient rather then a cell battery which are generally more expensive to purchase then AAA Batteries. The bright orange color makes it so easy to spot when looking to locate the thermometer in your Cabinet or shelf. The Thermometer supposed to be rated IPX5 which means it will withstand getting wet under a low flow running water without damage but not submerged. I bought this specific Thermometer due to its IPX5 rating. My last Candy/Meat Thermometer was very good and more expensive than the one I just purchased. But one day I accidentally put the LCD Head under my kitchen tap running water for less than a second and that was enough to permanently damage the thermometer which stopped working afterwards. I haven't yet tested it under low flow running tap water but I am assuming it won't be damaged. Easy to clean the steel probe. The LCD Housing has a list of various Candy Temperatures and Oil Temperatures but no meat temperatures. So I use my last Candy/Meat Thermometer Probe protector that has both Candy and Meat Temperatures on it. Like I mentioned I used it to check my Pork Chop temperature and it seemed to work correctly. When I temperature of the Pork Chop reached 145 F degrees the chop was properly cooked. Not raw or overcooked. So for the time being I do recommend to purchase this simple Candy/Oil Thermometer. It doesn't have all the features of more expensive Candy/Meat thermometers like Temperature Alarm, Setting Max Temp before Alarm goes off, etc. But it does have Auto-off feature and setting the Degree in F or C.

Very handy and sturdy and accurate thermometer. The long stem makes it easy to take off the temperature from hot meat. The accuracy is very point. Its easy to read and simplifies the grilling experience.

I was so excited to get this thermometer! I have always wanted to make candy, but never knew how to know if I react he correct temperature. This handy gadget has a great display that makes it easy to read. You should buy this!

This thermometer was the best choice to buy it: It is very easy to use and it makes it easy for me when cooking, frying.. It is very accurate and when I use it the first time frying Donuts, the donuts came out perfectly done.
