This toy engine is beautifully designed, with vibrant colors and intricate details that make it look just like the character from the popular children's TV show.One of the best features of this toy is that it is motorized, which adds a new level of excitement and realism to playtime. Kids will love watching Ashima chug along on her own. Compatible with any wooden trucks as well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a hit with my son as soon as received. Even without a track he enjoys watching it go and loves to turn it on and let it go. Its easy enough that he can turn it on and off himself and he's also been able to connect the trailer piece on his own. He's 3 years old. It is a little bit of a pain that the trailer piece seems to disconnect pretty easily. Its also a bummer that no batteries are included. We'll have to see about getting some tracks for him if I can find a good deal. Would definitely buy other Thomas and friends motorized cars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter plays with it non-stop. Great little size for her to hold comfortably. Sturdy too which means it can withstand a fair bit of being thrown around by a toddler. Great that it has a hook to attach to other trains too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little boy loves this. At first I thought it was just going to be a cheap feeling toy. However, they feel really well built and sturdy. They also move on their own with AAA batteries which is brilliant. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with kids who love Thomas the tank engine

He wonders at it as it makes its way around the train track that he has carefully out together as it pulls it's load of logs behind. The train has a really simple and easy to use switch to make it move forwards and it fits our wooden track by another brand. It easily travels up and down the bridges independently. An excellent toy with one caution, mind your children don't lift it near their hair when the wheels are turning!

The carriage accessory is removable and is also very well made. It is easy to add the batteries and works very well and is fast! My son loves Thomas and we have a few already, this one really stands out and is the the best of the collection.

Upon opening my little one was already excited with anticipation and this certainly didn't disappoint! Ashima is a great addition to the Thomas and friends train collection. He is motorized but batteries are not included so keep that in mind when making your purchase, especially if your little one wants to play with it immediately. He moves rather easily with no issues. Our little one just loved it. It comes with an additional accessory which consist of a "log" cargo cab. The details and material are of a higher quality and the colors are vibrant. This will bring us many years of playtime and joy. The wheels move very well with no hiccups or issues. We highly recommend this toy to you and your family too!

The train fits right on his wood train track wish is awesome. My son loves to let it roam through the house and follow it! Great toy for any child that loves trains!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved how it moved on the carpet very well but my 5 year old was having trouble saying her name. It can handle both of the train cars on the back of them. He loves how it goes on it’s own. Pretty fast across all types of flooring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kids love anything that moves and in particular train sets so the Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Ashima Motorized Engine was a great addition to their existing setup. It’s lovely to look at, however we found that the part that attaches the rear carriage is poor quality and easily broken. The design of the unit is so nice and so different to everything else out there. Our kids still play with this, however unable to reattach the carriage which is a shame.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product came nicely packaged. My three year old grandson was elated to see this new train. He couldn’t wait for me to open it. We added the two AAA batteries to Ashima and our fun began. We got out our track and many other engines that we have. This new train prompted what other engines are suppose to pull, as well as the names of the other engines. This engine is of the newer design and fits in quite nicely with our other engines and tracks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors on Ashima are absolutely beautiful and really pop! My 2 boys were immediately drawn to how bright and vivid Ashima is. The face on the train is very pleasant with a great smile. The boys really love the the flat bed carrying the blue pipes. Its great because it pops off the flatbed and they can use the cranes on their playset to hold the pipes. The train runs extremely smooth across the tracks and is fairly quiet. It gets the same average battery life as the other trains do as well. All in all this is a fantastic new train that weve added to the collection and we cant wait to add more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy operated well and we were able to use it on both the plastic and wooden tracks we own. Although my son was able to recognize Ashima immediately, the car itself was missing some detail. Instead of molded features the train was blocky and the car was decorated with stickers, some of which were not placed correctly (ex: off-centered etc). It wasn’t as detailed as some of the other trains we’ve received. I’m sure a toddler won’t notice, but we did!
