A: Thorne told us the following: Thorne has a longstanding policy to not use any genetically modified ingredients to manufacture our products. Therefore, to the best of our knowledge, every Thorne product is GMO-free, although we don’t label our products as being non-GMO. The reason we don’t label our products as non-GMO is because there are no current tests that can be performed to confirm an ingredient’s non-GMO status. Currently, an ingredient’s non-GMO status can only be affirmed by a supplier affidavit, and Thorne has chosen to wait for the time we can use scientific methods to confirm every ingredient’s non-GMO status.

This is the only brand of Iron supplements I've tried for my anemia but my stomach doesn't get upset, and I have a very sensitive stomach. I use these on my menstural and it gets rid of all the terrible side effects from that.

I’m happy to have found the right version of an iron supplement for me! Bisglycinate is definitely easier on my body and I haven’t experienced any side effects. The capsule itself goes down super easy and I don’t dread taking it everyday like I do some supplements. Go for it!

Was looking for iron supplement for my daughter and after reading up on this brand and the reviews, thought we would try it. The pills are not too big and easy to swallow. She has just started taking them so not sure if the results yet.

Gentle iron tab that doesn't cause any constipation. The tablet size is nice to swallow. There is no aftertaste. I havent taken long enough to see if indeed my iron levwl went up but this is good product free of any gelatin or unwanted stuff.

I've been borderline anemic most of my life, and have tried all sorts of iron supplements. This is the first one that doesn't make me want to hurl if I forget and take it on an empty stomach, which is awesome. It really makes it easier to remember to take it if I can take it any time during the day!

This is the iron to get. I have struggled for years to find an iron supplement that was not uncomfortable or evem painful and this is it. I did not feel any difference when taking the capsule versus a liquid supplement. I would definitely recommend this for anyone concerned with the side effects of typical iron pills.

I really like this iron supplement a lot and plan to keep purchasing it. Unlike others, it doesn’t taste like a mouthful of pennies, which is a huge plus. This is completely anecdotal, and I’m not a doctor, but this fall I was experiencing lightheadedness. I read that it could be an iron deficiency, which makes sense as I have been turned away the last few times I tried to give blood for low hemoglobin. I decided to try this supplement and it has helped so much. No more spells, and the pills are easy to take— small enough that I can take them without water and they don’t have that horrible metallic taste that other brands have. This was my first time trying any products from this brand and I’m quite impressed!

I have t been able to try these yet but I think they will be good. The type of iron usally is a good non constipating type. The quality seems good too. I’m sure it will be great and help my iron levels.

I haven’t really noticed a difference yet, I will update my review once I have taken all the product. I do have a little more energy and my sleeping habit is better, that is a good thing. Hopefully it continues to improve

I’ve always tended to be anemic and needed help with iron and this is the best iron supplement I’ve found. The capsules are closed tight, so no bad taste, and I haven’t experienced any side effects. Thorne is the vitamin brand that I trust above all others so this is my clear choice for my nightly iron.

I think it is not possible to say anything about effectiveness of a supplement without having a blood work. However, I can tell that it does not have that bad smell or aftertaste that our iron supplements have.

Love this product. Stress and anxiety were causing me a lot of problems. My mornings begin with a tired feeling and I spend the entire first part of the day feeling lousy. This gives me a steady level of energy during the day. It's been awhile since I've experienced that late morning/mid-afternoon slump. After taking this product, I slept better and felt rested.

I've always suffered from low iron and have taken supplements in the past but honestly they caused me some intestinal issues. I've been taking the Thorne Iron Bisglycinate for about a week and so far no issues. Energy is up. It's a 60 day supply so I'm hopeful this is an item I can use without side effects.

I have been struggling with low iron for awhile now. I have tried so many iron products and they didn’t work. Most would make my nauseous and give me bad stomach problems. Some one told about Thorne iron supplements. It did not upset my stomach or get me nauseous. It was easy to swallow. So far I have been feeling so much better and I have energy. I highly recommend this iron pill.

I actually don't mind taking these. It's a nice small size, you only have to take one, and it hasn't stopped me up or anything like that. I appreciate that this is just one simple pill in an easily-absorbed form to take along with the multivitamins that almost always don't have iron in them, which can get very annoying for us low-iron people. I'm always struggling to get enough iron so this definitely helps me feel better and stronger.

Barely had enough iron for a blood donation, so I tried these. No issue the next donation 8 weeks later, so i think they are effective.
