They help prevent any shifting or movement in the back panel. You can place them on the back panel on the inside of the item or on the outside of the item on the back panel. Hope this helps. The only consoles that I really liked for under our TV in our master bedroom were $2k +. I found this one and decided to take a chance. Honestly, aside from the color being a *tad* more ornage than I wanted - i'm happy with it! It took me 30 minutes to assemble all by my self - super easy! My tv is 60" so it works perfectly with my space. Give it a try!

Love this TV stand, we use it as a buffet in our dining room to store kids crafts and activities. It holds the bright room storage bins great. It was slightly difficult to put together and did take a few hours, but I would purchase again.

This is constructed with poor quality particle board. It was covered with cracks and blemishes and the cabinet doors would not close without a gap. After several hours of adjusting and re adjusting I came to the conclusion this cabinet wasn’t worth my time or money. If they just put a little more effort into the quality I’d pay more for it. The style had so much potential to be a beautiful piece.

This console looks very nice but the box and a few parts arrived damaged, chipped and scuffed. The doors also don’t hang correctly no matter how you much adjust them. They are just wonky. I don’t have anyone to help me return it, the box is massive and it is super heavy, I had to take it apart on my doorstep to bring it inside piece by piece, so I am kinda stuck. Disappointed :(

I LOVE this media console it’s very modern and cute! Has a ton of storage and is easy to clean underneath! Plan on buying a larger TV to mount above it but the 55 inch seems to fit well for now! My husband put it together and didn’t have any issues with assembly!

I love the look and functionality of this piece of furniture. I have a toddler, so the flush cabinets and small handles are great to keep little fingers from opening the doors. It was the most complicated piece of furniture I have ever assembled so far, but I think it’s worth it. It’s a quality piece as far as flat-pack goes. If you don’t take the time to thoroughly read the instructions, it’s not going to look good in the end.

My biggest issues are: 1) The center support leg I got is too short & doesn’t touch the ground. There is no way to fix this- this piece just simply screws in- neither loosening it or adjusting the other legs works. So I put wood shims I had on hand underneath, not sure if it’s enough to support the weight of the heavy stand & tv… 2) The gap between the doors- yes, I followed the instructions to try to fix this & it didn’t work for me. I attempted several times before I gave up. 3) Another issue is mine came with a weird marking on the left center door, which bothers me & looks defected. 4) Lastly, it is quite high considering the low tv stands/couches they are making nowadays. My room is not very big, so this wasn’t the best choice for me. I am a 28 yrs old w/ a broken collarbone & put this together myself. It took forever, but I was proud of myself & took my time following the instructions to a T, yet I was still left with those disappointments on nearly a $600 piece of furniture.
