it just doesn’t work, & I’m just realizing it. All of my wardrobe is black. I tested a white pair of socks I wore inside around the house for 1 week. The outside of the sock still looked visibly dirty. I use 3 tablespoons of detergent, hot water in a front loader, 30% vinegar in the rinse cycle.

Because all of our laundry detergents are designed to provide good overall cleaning, you should see clean. It may help to know that detergents help water to penetrate fabrics and then loosen dirt from them. They also suspend dirt in the water so it doesn't go back onto the fabric. It is possible the soil from the garments has redeposited on the fabric. Be sure you follow your laundry’s care instructions and use the hottest water safe for the fabric. Pretreat noticeable stains before washing, and don’t overload the washer. Take care to select the correct amount of water, and to always use the recommended amount of detergent for the amount of soil on clothes. Give us a call for more help with this. I love this detergent! I use it along with vinegar for things like sheets and towels and my husband’s nasty clothes. I have sensitive skin and it does not make me itch. I also do not have a problem with excessive suds like another problem. I buy this liquid bc it is $7 cheaper than the pods and you get more loads! I don’t know why anyone would buy the pods.

Seems to clean nicely but caused me to have an odd allergic reaction. Like another user said, I had to rewash all of my clothes and blankets because it was causing my skin to itch. Stick with regular free & clear if you have allergies.

Really liked it for the first few months of use until it started to crystalize and turn cloudy. Was not in any direct sun or weird conditions and I always kept the cap on so I’m not sure what happened. I contacted Tide and they told me not to use it and I got a gift card.

Do not buy. Horrible formula with additive to increase suds. Our front-loaded washer is filled with suds at the end of each wash cycle. When washing towels, the machine leaked all over because of the excessive suds. We will go back to Tide Free and plain old hot water.

Amazing. Usually I go for the natural brands, but after moving to an apartment building with a sub-par washing machine from what looks like the 80’s, I need a more powerful detergent. I literally almost cried when I saw how clean my white bedding and towels got. I’ll never buy another laundry soap again. Tide, I hope you make this forever!

Overall, I like Tide Free, but the detergent keeps crystallizing (getting clumpy). I have tried several bottles before deciding the quality is not great. Other Free detergents do not seem to do this.

This detergent is great. My sheets and towels are soft and clean as well as my clothes. No perfume smell. You only need a small amount of this detergent - not a full cap! - so your clothes can rinse properly. Will repurchase.

I don’t know WHAT is in this but I had the worst allergic reaction. I had to return it, get something else and rewash all my clothes, blankets and sheets. Now I have to try to figure out how to get my couch cleaned cause those clothes touched it and it’s still rubbing onto my skin. I don’t usually have reactions to laundry detergents and I switch it up pretty often. This has something crazy in it!

This cleans far better than the regular Tide. It's kind of astonishing to me how clean this gets all of my laundry. I was using another free and clear detergent but had to add oxi clean or clorox 2 most of the time to really get things clean and stains out. But this I can use alone and it's amazing. For my he front loader I don't add the full amount recommended on the bottle, I add 2tbsp for a large load and a little more for extra large. It's plenty to get everything clean.

Gets the stink out of my sweaty yoga clothes without irritating my sensitive skin. There have been crystals in the bottom of the container the past few months. Doesn’t seem to change effectiveness but also can’t find any info on what it is/why they’re forming.
