A: It does not have the same scent as Tide original. That is false.

Q: Which product eliminates sweat odor the best?

A: Tide Plus Febreze Sport Active Fresh should remove sweat odor but it may have a different scent then this Tide Plus Ultra Oxi Liquid Tide Laundry Detergent, which has the Original Tide scent.

A: Not that this is a correct answer, but I use Tide Ultra Oxi Liquid and I use it in cold, hot & warm washes, My whites are still white regardless, I "think" it can be used in hot, cold & warm water.
submitted byBJBlood - 1 year agoA: You can use our detergents with cold water, but warm or hot water provides the best cleaning results. Tide ColdWater has more enzymes to break up dirt, ‘surfactants’ to release soils from fabric, and polymer to suspend the soils in cold water. It provides effective cleaning (stain removal and whiteness) in cold water while offering color protection and saving energy.

Q: Is this product safe for items made of wool or alpaca or other similar fibers?

A: We recommend you follow the instructions on the garment label. That will indicate whether it is a washable wool or not. If it is washable, follow all of the manufacturer’s label instructions. This will include water temperature, drying methods, etc.

A: Carcinogen is not intentionally added ingredient in any of P&G’s products. Because arsenic is in the naturally occurring in the environment, arsenic is found in trace amounts widely across many products such as food and cleaning products. The results shared by CR are very low, safe levels, well below any established safety limits for a cleaning product.

A: That's a great question. Our Tide Plus Ultra Oxi Laundry detergent is not the same as Tide+Oxi.

Q: When washing a white load can bleach be used with this? Typically bleach and Hydrogen Peroxide cancel each other out so I don't use Oxi when using bleach. Does that same rule apply here too?

Tied with OxiClean does a really nice job on fabrics without fading or furring on T-shirts. It gets stains out nicely and the end leaves clothing smelling fresh. I’ve used Tide for over 40 years and just recently started using the tired with OxiClean and now I won’t switch that I hope they keep making it.

Horrible allergic reaction to this product. I’ve used other tide products with no issue. I washed and dried my clothes and put on some clothes from the dryer and my eyes were swollen and my nose started running, my sinuses burning until I changed my clothes. I rewashed everything else in a different detergent after that.

Ive washed all kinds of clothes with this including blue and black jeans. Ive had no problem with spotting or acid washing. Maybe it's because the detergent was put directly on clothes instead of dispenser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide works better than any other laundry detergent, no doubt. I use it for cloth diapers as well and it works great. The only downside is the scent is extremely strong when you open the box, and some of the ingredients are known to cause lung, skin and eye irritation. I dont know why those have to be there. Seems unnecessary. If they could make a Tide powder free and clear version, I would buy it!

I just washed a load of muddy jeans and they came out looking like the acid-washed stuff from the '80's. I wish the label mentioned that this product will bleach denim, as I would have tried something else. My jeans are clean, but now I won't be able to wear them for anything in public. I really do no want to start the acid-washed trend again...

I ordered this Tide plus Oxi detergent regularly from Target and never have any issues with the shipment until this latest order. I couldn't believe that UPS still delivered the package! It was 149 oz container and half of it leaking everywhere. I had to call Target to get my refund back! Such a pain! Never again ordering the detergent online!

Tide Oxi is the best! I use it for my color towels. It gets them squeaky clean and brightens them, too. I use it to clean all around my home. It cuts grease like nothing else!! Vent hoods, fryers, floors etc. All my white dish towels and washcloths white and absorbent. I also used it to clean old bottles that had been outside. It dissolves soap scum . I do have to stir to dissolve it in hot water or it will form "rocks" and not dissolve. That probably has something to do with all the calcium it binds "softening" the water. It has a strong, clean scent, like pure washing soda on steroids.

I am 82 and have arthritic fingers. This was my first time using this particular Tide product although I have used Tide’s other liquid detergents. I have been very happy with their cleaning ability and the smell. However, I could not open the bottle so will never buy this product again. I realize it has to stay sealed to prevent leaking, but there should be some way for the smart people at Tide to come up with an easy open bottle, or at least instructions on how to open. As our population ages this is going to become more of a problem.
