A: It does not have the same scent as Tide original. That is false.

Q: Which product eliminates sweat odor the best?

A: Tide Plus Febreze Sport Active Fresh should remove sweat odor but it may have a different scent then this Tide Plus Ultra Oxi Liquid Tide Laundry Detergent, which has the Original Tide scent.

A: Not that this is a correct answer, but I use Tide Ultra Oxi Liquid and I use it in cold, hot & warm washes, My whites are still white regardless, I "think" it can be used in hot, cold & warm water.
submitted byBJBlood - 1 year agoA: You can use our detergents with cold water, but warm or hot water provides the best cleaning results. Tide ColdWater has more enzymes to break up dirt, ‘surfactants’ to release soils from fabric, and polymer to suspend the soils in cold water. It provides effective cleaning (stain removal and whiteness) in cold water while offering color protection and saving energy.

Q: Is this product safe for items made of wool or alpaca or other similar fibers?

A: We recommend you follow the instructions on the garment label. That will indicate whether it is a washable wool or not. If it is washable, follow all of the manufacturer’s label instructions. This will include water temperature, drying methods, etc.

A: Carcinogen is not intentionally added ingredient in any of P&G’s products. Because arsenic is in the naturally occurring in the environment, arsenic is found in trace amounts widely across many products such as food and cleaning products. The results shared by CR are very low, safe levels, well below any established safety limits for a cleaning product.

A: That's a great question. Our Tide Plus Ultra Oxi Laundry detergent is not the same as Tide+Oxi.

Q: When washing a white load can bleach be used with this? Typically bleach and Hydrogen Peroxide cancel each other out so I don't use Oxi when using bleach. Does that same rule apply here too?

I’m not sure this gets my clothes any cleaner than the generic brand to be honest, and I don’t have a lot of whites or stains to see how the Oxi works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With all the laundry detergent reformulations lately it’s hard to find a detergent that actually works. I’m pleased that this Tide Oxi Boost works fantastic on getting new and preset stains out! Using the recommended amount is key so the enzymes in the detergent can dilute with the water and work its magic. The deep blue color is great for washing whites and getting them to brighten again. “Bluing” is just cancelling out the yellowing that happens when white clothes are bleached too heavily or oils and dirt aren’t removed when washed. Personally I didn’t find the scent heavy and after the laundry has been rinsed in the wash cycle the laundry is left smelling fresh and not scent heavy.

With four kids, a bulldog who’s allergic to cleanliness, and a husband who brings home half the construction site on his pants, laundry around here isn’t just a chore — it’s an extreme sport. And then there’s me. I work in healthcare, so my scrubs see everything from blood to saliva on a daily basis. Add in gardening on the weekends (yes, I know I should rest — tell that to my tomato plants), and you’ll understand why our laundry basket could probably qualify for its own biohazard label. So, when I say I tested this detergent, I really tested it. First load: winter jackets. Muddy, salty, end-of-season survivors. Came out clean and soft, like they hadn’t just survived a PNW winter. Second load: kids’ sneakers. Not new, but not disgusting anymore. That’s a win. Third load: my scrubs. Spotless. That’s not something I say often. And the dog’s blanket? Let’s just say it no longer smells like he buried it in the compost bin. The scent is strong but not artificial — clean and fresh, like a reset button. And I didn’t even need to add fabric softener. Everything came out soft enough. What I really liked? I didn’t have to rewash anything. One cycle, done. That’s rare in our house. Would I buy it after this test? Honestly, yes. It handled our mess without me having to do laundry gymnastics. That’s more than I can say for most detergents I’ve used.

Glad I didn’t throw it out! Doesn’t have a strong scent either which is a bonus! Packaged in a regular box with a plastic bag around it. Usually purchase another brand however, I will purchase this after the result.

As my husband and I engage in regular exercise, we are particularly discerning when selecting a detergent suitable for gym wear that retains its freshness.
