I have used other tide products in the past with satisfaction. I purchased this because it was less expensive. I had a mud stain on one shirt and sauce stain on a different shirt. Didn’t make a dent in the stains at all. I rewashed them with a different tide product and the dirt came out. This may be less expensive, but it doesn’t work nearly as well. I’m very disappointed. Now I have an entire bottle of detergent that I can’t use. There’s no value in this product if it doesn’t work.

Tide Simply detergents contains a different formulation than Tide in that they contain a lower formulation of cleaning ingredients and do not contain enzymes that are used for specific stain removal. The concentration of quality cleaning ingredients in Tide Simply Clean detergents allows it to be offered at a low price while providing quality odor fighting and cleaning power. To better remove tough stains, try Tide Simply Oxi or Tide Original in an orange bottle. I wish I could upload a picture I took. My "24 loads" bottle only HALF full after doing ONE load of laundry, cup filled to the line. Clever trick to use white bottles and clear liquid so no one can see, but I shined a flashlight through the side... Half. Gone.

Sorry you feel this way. We do extensive market research and consumer testing while designing our products and each of our bottles are designed and filled with some air-space to allow for proper pouring. I bought this before and enjoyed the product. I recently bought 2 more bottles, only to be met with a nasty smell as well as a brown color instead of clear. As money is extremely tight, I was excited to find an affordable laundry detergent only for it to turn into a waste of money. Very disappointed.

Thank you for sharing that your two recent bottles of Tide Simply Free & Sensitive was brown, and smelled off, Tina. We have many quality checks to ensure they arrive to you in the perfect condition. The color change and scent change may be due to being exposed to direct sunlight. The detergent can also change colors over time. We always recommend storing it in a cool dry place away from sunlight, and using it within 12 months after purchase. We also suggest tossing your two brown bottles of Tide, and replacing it with a new one. I just went to use it again and it was brown and smelled..just like the previous review. I keep it on a shelf in my laundry room and it is not exposed to sunlight. I’ve never had detergent go bad that was for sensitive skin.

I LOVE this detergent!! I am allergic to everything, yet this detergent works very well for me. This is the ONLY detergent that does not give me rashes or itchiness. It washes my clothes very well and leaves them smelling fresh but not perfumey which is great! The only downside is that I can no longer find it in any stores any more. PLEASE make this detergent available!! We NEED it!!

I just purchased this for the 1st time because Tide Zero was out of stock. When I got it home I realized there was no HE symbol on it so I gave it away. Then I checked your website and it says its for HE or regular machines. Why is this not indicated on the bottle? Now I have to purchase another bottle. Grrrr

I was buying this Simply Tide Free and Gentle and loving it. Now it’s nowhere to be found. Have you discontinued this product? I’ve tried replacing it with some other Tide brands but I’m very unhappy with your products. I don’t like detergents with fragrance but that’s all that will suds up. My family has used Tide for laundry for more than 50 years. Now, I’m considering changing brands.

I was psyched to see this product when it came out, so I switched from Tide Free (non- HE). Suddenly the itching started again. I compared the 2, and there is Sodium And MEA Laureth Sulfate, which I can't use in my shampoo, so I guess I can't use it in my laundry detergent anymore. Please do not discontinue the non-he version of Tide Free and Gentle

I love this Tide! It's all I use because of my allergies. The problem I am having is finding it in the 64 oz size. Or any size at all really. None of the stores in my area have it anymore. Is there any other way I can purchase it?

After years of being itchy despite loading up on eczema creams and paying for VERY expensive Landry detergents I found this detergent. It doesn't make me itchy and it comes in a inexpensive price. I also like the size bottle because its easy to carry with me to the laundromat!

This website shows a product that is supposedly good for 64 loads and contains 100 oz of product. The bottle I bought says it is good for 64 loads but contains 92 oz of product. Fix the website.

It may be helpful to know that the difference between our regular Tide and Tide Simply is that the Simply won't have the added stain fighters that are present in regular Tide. Our family has very sensitive skin. We’ve used other products. Tide Simply Free & Sensitive is the best. It's very gentle on our skin - no more rashes. Plus, it gets our clothes super clean and fresh.

My boyfriend puts on cologne everyday. I couldn’t wash the smell of his cologne out of his clothes. Then I had to rewash clothes 2 or 3 times just to get the deodorant marks out.

It did not have any perfumey smell which is great for me because I work outdoors and do not want to attract bees or other insects. It got all my clothes looking and smelling clean even the sweatiest smelliest ones. What more could you ask for from a detergent?
