Q: What is Toddleroo play mat made of? Where is it made in? Is it free of harmful substances, such as PVC, lead, BPA, phthlate, formaldehyde, formamide, etc.? Is the paint or color used in this play mat non-toxic?

A: Our Play Mats are made of PE (polyethylene) foam, are hypoallergenic and free of BPA, phthalate, lead, formamide, and formaldehyde. They have been verified as being compliant with California Proposition 65. Our play mats do not contain flame retardants because the base material (polytheylene) meets the flammability tests without them. The only other material present in the product is non-toxic colorant that is used to color the polyethylene. The product has been subjected to a battery of tests to verify that it is completely non-toxic.

Love this Mat
So I bought this mat cause I wanted to replace our puzzle mat as my baby kept taking it apart and it was a hassle to put together and away. This is so much easier to put out and away and my baby can’t take it apart either which is great. I also love that it fits the build of the couch so my baby can practice pulling himself up to walk along the couch. It’s got a good amount of cushion to it in case he falls. I love the design and definitely recommend over a puzzle mat especially if you plan to not have it out all the time. My only negative comment would be some parts were faded on the folds which I get, but overall love this mat and highly recommend!
