Violeta Reed nació en Madrid, aunque actualmente reside en Nueva York. Lo de escribir le viene de pequeña: dice que cuando no podía dormir se imaginaba miles de historias de amor. Le encanta viajar y no puede vivir sin música. Antes de ser escritora trabajó en otras áreas como el marketing, pero lo que siempre le ha apasionado es contar historias. Se ha formado en escritura creativa en distintas universidades, entre ellas Stanford.
