submitted byRocky - 5 months agoA: Hi there! You will need a Toniebox to play the Tonies, as they cannot be played through the mytonies app. Additionally, the Toniebox does not support Bluetooth functionality.

Q: Does the box need to be charged before it can be used ?
A: Hey John. The Toniebox can be set up and used straight out of the box. However, we recommend charging it for a full 5 hours without use before gifting, so your little listeners can enjoy their Tonies without interrupting playtime!

Q: does this set need wifi to function or is it a stand alone system?
A: Hey there. It’s important to note that the Toniebox only needs a WiFi or hotspot connection during the initial setup and when downloading new Tonie content. Once the content has been downloaded, the Toniebox no longer requires a WiFi or hotspot connection to play.

A: The toniebox plays tonies figurines. This starter set comes with one Toy Story - Woody figurine. You can play any tonies figurines (additional ones sold separately) on the toniebox.
