This is an absolute favorite in my home. Both of my children often reach for this one. They find the music mixed with narration interesting and we use this for relaxation before bedtime. Both of my kids 2 & 5 now talk about the differences in the instruments since it’s a key aspect in differentiating the characters in the symphony style tonies. It did take a while before my kids started to love it, we had it for almost 2 months before it became a favorite.

my 2 year old absolutely loves it! he has it playing on loop all day. this is his first real encounter with classical music and he’s so enamored with it. the design of the wolf in bowie style is so creative and beautiful. bowie as a narrator is just the cherry on top. an absolute must have for your tonies library.

I love this tonie. i didnt know about this symphonic fairy tale until he told me that he loved it as a child. Our daughter is too young for it; shes 2. 5 so she likes the more interactive tonies but I think she will like it when shes older. It is a wonderful way to tell a story and introduce kids to different musical instruments and the orchestra as a whole especially if your child likes animals. The zoo story is also fun and i like how the narrator describes how sounds can be manipulated with different instruments. Again i think its better for older kids but we have it on in the background during activities.

My son really enjoyed this one. I was surprised because it's more of an instrumental musical tonie.

Recording Great. But the wolf toy is scary. We get that it is David Bowie etc but for toddlers... just not appropriate. Peter, the hero, not the wolf, would of been more developmentally appropriate. We don't think tonies has the child's best interest in mind.

Love the original narrated by David Bowie - just like the old Disney cartoon. And the music is wonderful. A great intro to classical music for littles.

Such a well thought out and made tonie! Easily one of our favorites! I was bummed it was so expensive secondhand as it was originally only a UK tonie. I hope that they will bring more UK Tonies over to the US as well as other countries too!
Thank you!!

Peter and the Wolf is a classic! For many generations this piece has taught children how to recognize the various instruments in an orchestra with a wonderful story, which is timeless! As an older grandmother, I still love it!!
