A: Hello Paris - Thank you for taking an interest in this product. The cart withstood placing 100 lbs on the surface during a 5 minute test. This should be able to handle cake and pastries. This is super cute although till admit it’s extremely fragile. Almost too fragile to let a child play with..$100 for this item is very steep, I would consider $50 as being a good deal as far as quality goes but I won’t be sending it back since it is already built

Do NOT buy! This is an extremely unsafe product. I cannot believe Target/Magnolia would sell such a dangerous toy. The card should not be on wheels. The wheels make it very unstable and it easily tips over. This toy could seriously injur a child.

We love this!! So great for open concept play. Currently it’s a coffee cart. Sometimes it’s an ice cream cart. Sometimes it’s a pizza cart. My 1 year old loves this! Great first bday gift too. Good quality and sturdy. If you don’t want it to roll, you can just tighten the wheels. The storage is great for kids to play as well.

Wanted to love it. It’s very cute and what I wanted but I will say the quality really isn’t that great. The wood was cracked showing the darker under wood inside that obviously isn’t white. The shade had dirt marks on it as well as fraying where it was cut. I was just so disappointed. Customer service was helpful after I asked to speak to a manager.

Just got this for my daughter for christmas. Used the chalk that came wiht the box, and literally scratched the entire chalk board with one use! Not sure why, its not like i used a different chalk. Pretty upsetting considering its brand new! Other than that I do like the item, my daughter loves it, but I HATE that its already scratched after one use.

The aesthetic of the cart is spot on but for goodness sake, please make it easier to assemble. The holes in the dowels were not wide enough so the screws to assemble the wheels stripped in three turns. This is not what I would’ve expected from such a big name label and for the price. I’m not sure I would recommend this for someone who doesn’t also have a drill bit to widen the holes.

This cart is adorable!! It’s such a fun piece to display during holidays or every day imaginative play. My little girl loves pushing it around with her books and then pretending she is a librarian. It is a pain to put together and some of the pieces are a bit off so have patience. But overall it’s a great cart!

I read the reviews and was nervous to purchase this due to the construction problems people were having. But because the cart was on sale, I went ahead and ordered it. I had to put it together on my own, and I have not done a project like this before. I took my time, followed the directions exactly, and the cart came out beautifully! The wheels are straight and not crooked, the pieces are tightly together, and it is sturdy. It took me around an hour to assemble it. I would buy it again! Just take your time and follow the directions! You should be good!
