This thing is awesome...only issue is you can't charge it and go. It has to be plugged in to work. Other than that, if you can sit still where it's charging it's fantastic and even comes with a mobile charger. I also unplug it and use it to put ice bags under and it supports the ice from moving off my shoulder.

Purchased for my mom - she has arthritis in her shoulder - she had had heating pads before - but really liked how it fit on her shoulder and the vibration - very relieving for her.

After using my heating pad for my frozen shoulder for the very first time my shoulder felt better after spending a big amount of money on therapy I would recommend the electric heating pad.

This massager works great! Different settings to find exactly what you need. Easy to use. Quality seems pretty good and seems like it should hold up well. Overall i am pleased with this unit and i would highly recommend it. Good power and really helps with shoulder pain. Pretty good value for the price.

I've been nursing the second frozen shoulder I've had in the last year - first one was my left shoulder, this time my right, and I wish I'd had this device earlier. Frozen should can be quite painful during the intial phase which I'm probably almost out of at this point, but this device seems to be making that last bit of discomfort go away.I love how well it fits and I can actually put it on and take it off myself without much difficulty, but if you are in the beginning stage of frozen shoulder or have a different shoulder issue that even slight movements very painful, you may need someone to assist you. Personally I get it to fit quite snugly in under a minute.A key feature for me is just the flexible settings - having three different settings for both vibration and heat, and to make them separate is wonderful. If I get too hot I can turn the heat down but keep the vibration high. If I'm trying to do something else like work, I may need less vibration as well. Generally I try to start at high heat and vibration but they both get a bit too much for me after 5 minutes or so, after which I go down to medium and I'm able to go for at least 15 more minutes. Then I can finish off with the lowest settings before stopping. A perfect heated massage session!Apparently some people have issues with noise but even at the highest setting my massager is not that loud, and does not bother me at all. I suppose if it were a lot louder it might, but I could also just put on some noise-cancelling headphones for the session and at least that would block most of that noise out for me, but as I said, my device was fairly quiet.The whole thing is quite small when bundled up and so could be slipped very easily into a knapsack for travel or commute. Even if you don't have an outlet handy, you can use a USB port to power it up, although the heat and vibration will not be at full strength - rather they seemed to me to be about 1/4 to 1/2 the normal strength? So you could actually take this on a camping trip with a portable power pack and at least get some use out of it, although if your power pack was capable of fully powering a laptop, it could power this at full strength as well via the normal outlet rather than the USB.After I use this, my shoulder feels pleasantly warm and as if a physical therapist (which I had last year on my left shoulder) has been kneading my shoulder for however long I've had it on. It feels like it's gotten "work" done on it to progress the healing. Given that I've only had it for a few days and only had it on maybe a half dozen, I can't tell how much it's actually helping my shoulder, that will probably be more apparent in a couple of weeks, but I do feel more limber and relaxed in my right shoulder after using it, and any positive feeling in my shoulder right now is welcome!Thanks for reading, I hope you found this review helpful!

I am really satisfied with this product. I haven't had it very long but it works exactly as claimed. I had a bit of problem getting it adjusted but with was able to get it right. I am enjoying the pain relief!

This heating pad works great and stays on for hours. Great for both my broken shoulder and humerus. The massage function has two settings and is a big plus too, although I use it mostly for the heat.

The heat and or massage feature is great! I only wish it had the ability to be unplugged.

My right shoulder suffers severe chronic pain from a torn rotator cuff and osteoarthritis. Although the device is a challenge to put on and adjust myself because of the lack of motion in the shoulder, once I succeeded in getting on it provided the best relief I have had from the pain and I experienced substantially increased painless range of motion in the shoulder. The main benefit comes from the degree of heat the device delivers. It is much greater than that available from heating pads. The massage effect seemed to relieve the osteoarthritis discomfort long after I removed the device. The seller's information that the device emits an odor when heated is correct, but the smell is slight and is similar to that of my rubber scuba diving masks. It is insignificant when comapared to the theraputic benefits of the device. With a bit of ingenuity in adjustment and positioning of my legs, I was able to use the device to deliver equally beneficial heat and massage therapy to my knees with equivalent results to those provided to my shoulder. The remote control is a bit quirky, but after a bit of practice I was able to out think it's deficiencies and get it to work just fine. Because of the high temperatures reached and the complexity of use of the remote control, however, I would not recommend use of the device by cognitively impaired persons or persons having manual dexterity impairment or persons prone to falling asleep during use unless under the direction and close continuous monotoring of an adult caregiver who is present and observant during the use. I am a 76 years old male and other than getting the device on my shoulder the first time and figuring out the rather minuscule remote, I have had no other problems with it so far. If the device fails in the near future, I shall update this review.
