Transformers EarthSpark Optimus Prime Build-A-Figure Action Figure

I decided to give it to a little kid that comes to my work.. he was 8 and he was excited . All the pieces were together . When my kid used to play with transformers he would always have broken pieces of them everywhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Transformation is interesting and pretty smooth for my daughter to do, and I like the new take on Optimus Prime! My daughter likes how the gun attaches the legs to the back of the cab in truck mode! What I think is really neat is that the figure comes with 1 build-a-figure piece. Combine all the 7 figurine pieces to build a figure of Dr. Meridian “Mandroid”, the villainous half-human half-robot from the animated series.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was very excited to be able to receive this toy! It is small enough to carry around but not too small that he will lose it on his toy box. I will say the pieces are a little fragile. I would say the value for your money is good, however, the directions are a little hard to follow to make the toy transform.

During the assembly process, he encountered difficulty adhering to the provided instructions. Transforming Optimus back into his vehicular form without instructions can be a challenge when he is in his Transformer state. Optimus presents a challenge for individuals of all ages.

This is quality plastic and does not feel flimsy. At this price point this makes a perfect gift for a younger fan of transformers.

As a long-time fan of Transformers, I always look for toys that not only look great but also deliver on the transformation experience, and this Optimus Prime does not disappoint. First off, the design and detailing are top-notch. The resemblance to the iconic Optimus Prime from the movies is striking, with intricate details that make it a standout piece on my shelf. The classic red and blue colors are vibrant and eye-catching. The transformation process is where this toy truly shines. It’s complex enough to be engaging without being overly frustrating. I found myself enjoying the challenge of figuring out the different steps to convert it from the impressive truck mode to the formidable robot mode. It’s a seamless process that really showcases the engineering behind the toy. Durability is another important factor for me, especially since I like to display and occasionally play with my figures. Even my engineer husband had trouble with it (he didn’t use the directions however so maybe that’s why haha) Also it isn’t the best quality and a little piece keeps breaking off despite being careful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 9 year old grandson. He loves things you put together like Legos and transformers. He started out well, but some of the instructional drawings were confusing for him and we had to help him transform the character. I think these would be a LOT easier if there were some text instructions instead of only drawings to tell how to put these together. Might save a little hassle and frustration. Some people have trouble understanding just pictures.
