However, of you are still having difficulties figuring it out, emgo316 makes great transforming tutorials for a ton of Transformers on his channel, including the Target Optimus Prime.

Q: Is the 30 moves just for Optimus ? It’s says the dog is 7. So overall 37? Trying to make sure this is ok for a little kid. Is it sturdy or the joint fall apart easily

The transforming was too complicated for my 5 year old so my husband I tried and it still wasn’t working. Plus his face kept falling off. We ended up returning after 48hrs of frustration.

I think one star is generous. This toy is awful! The step-by-step instruction guide to transformer the truck is 30 steps and include additional directions under some steps. The pictures are awful to figure out. We made it to step 14 and couldn’t figure out the next step And then his head fell off. I apologized for my son and offered to get him something else. Extremely expensive and not worth!

Very cheaply made, pieces don’t fit together properly and broke within first day. Very cheaply made toy especially at this price point. Target would not accept return either.

If my child didn’t love the transformer so much, we would probably return it. It’s 30 steps to transform it so it will perpetually be the transformer and not the truck. There is zero way a child would be able to transform it themselves, it took my husband a good 20 minutes to do himself.
