Tresemme Extra Hold Hairspray

I like this hair spray. It is very affordable and does its job well. I havent actually tried any other hair sprays, because most of them are really expensive, so I dont have much comparison unfortunately. This holds my hair in place, but makes it look natural. However, it does make the hair crunchy and stiff (as expected, since it kinda has to make your hair stiff so that it sticks in place). Not too crunchy/stiff though, not like I put glue in my hair lol. It holds up good in humid and misty weather. Ive used it for a whole year and can attest that it works in every season. (I live in Maryland for reference). However, it does not hold up in rain (It is not advertised to be waterproof though!). Also, if you put on a hoodie while this hair spray is on, it will get all messed up and will lose its hold. So its not friction-resistant. It manages frizz well (I have really frizzy hair and this keeps everything very smooth, even in really humid weather which is amazing!) It washes out easily with regular shampoo. The biggest downside is the fragrance --- It is extremely strong and nauseating. Its fruity/floral, and smells like a salon. Fortunately, I just found out they sell an unscented version of this product, which I'll be buying regularly in the future!

Love this product but it’s bigger than I expected. I was looking for the travel size. I don’t think I’ll be allowed to take this on an airplane

This works perfectly for my curly hair! I always use it with a curly gel on my wet hair then blow dry after air drying for about 30 minutes.

This product holds your hair really well. It’s a dupe for the Big Sexy Hair hairspray (I have both hair sprays and will be purchasing this one for the cheaper price point and it works just as well).

WHAT HAPPENED???!!! Was a great product, now no hold! Makes hair flat. The new formula is horrible! The third ingredient is water! No hold whatsoever! Any spray is gone in 30 minutes.

The spraying mist is soft not strong like others that give a straight mist with lots of hair spray. My hair doesn't frizz up and feels very soft after applying. Hold strong through the day.

The only issue I had with this product is that it leaves a white cast if your hair isn't going to stay still. It has a great smell and the packaging is perfect. Maybe this just isn't a movement spray.

The nozzle never gets sticky or gummed up. A little goes a long way in holding a style with my fine hair. The spray is always easy to direct and I have only ever had very little mess from over-spray.

The hair spray comes out easily and you would be surprised how little you need to keep your hair in place. I've been using it when I pull my hair back on my little baby hair and flyaways that don't quite fit in the hair clip and the hair spray keeps them tamed all day long. It's easy to wash out of my hair without any trace that it was there. I highly recommend this hair spray, it works!
