I wanted this to give my hair volume and all it did was make it look dirty and stiff. Worst product ever! Do not recommend.

I think some people are reviewing the wrong product. The Amplifying Volume Root Boost is incredible. I typically use it on my dry hair. On my roots and all over. Truly one of the best volumizing products I’ve used. And it’s not as pricey as many others. There’s another volume spray from this brand that does practically nothing but make your hair wet, and I think some reviews here may be for that product.

Have been using this product for several months. Of the many root lift, volumizing products I have tried, I like the results of this one best. I spray as close to the roots as possible and spread with my fingertips through the crown of my hair. I blow dry as normal. The result is a lift that is significant and lasting. The benefits of this product last more than one day. Another plus is that hair and scalp do not feel heavy, oily or sticky (experienced with various other root lift products). Definitely on my repurchase list.

This thickening spray definitely lifted the roots where I needed more volume. The only downside for me was it can get sticky hard to manage. Once you spray, blow dry and lift, and then leave it alone.

I wear my hair in messy buns most of the time and this product gives my hair the volume, wave, and texture to achieve full buns with lasting hold. If you have slightly wavy hair with a lot of slip and weight, this is perfect for any kind of voluminous up-dos!

I had heard that this would add volume to my thin hair so I purchased it. The 1st can worked beautifully. Decided to purchase 2 can about 6 months later. Neither can works. Appears as if the nozzle on both units is clogged so I ran hot water over them both. No luck at all. Now what do I do with 2 cans of a product that doesn’t work ? I will need to find another company that makes a quality sprayer & won’ t cost an arm & a leg. Sorry but will not purchases any more Tresemme products.

This is a versatile product, as it can be used on damp or dry hair. I’ve tried it on both and it worked great. This truly adds a nice amount of volume at the roots. It does not leave any residue behind like many products of this type. This is one of my new favorite hair products. I would highly recommend it!

I love this stuff! I really can’t say enough good things about it. I bought it once and when the bottle ran out, I searched everywhere for it. (I think Target was out of stock atm.) I started to think they stopped making it but then found it here at Target! Thank you Target! For reference I have thick hair but it’s fine so there’s just a ton of fine hair, meaning it just lays flat on my head. I’m forever trying to find a way to get lift and this product does that, even better than some of the bigger name brand products. Let’s just say if there was a fire, I’d grab this on my way out ;)

i have used this multiple times to give it a fair shot but i find it just makes my hair feel disgusting and adds no volume for me. maybe i’m using it incorrectly but i’m following the instructions on the bottle. feels sticky and oily at the same time.

I have used this product on my fine hair for a couple of years now and have loved it. Recently however, I have had a similar issue as some other reviewers where the nozzle first begins to clog and spit and eventually becomes unusable. I contacted tresseme and they gave me a replacement coupon as bottle became unusable a third of the way into the can. My “replacement” bottle is now beginning to do the same thing. So bummed as I loved how the product worked for me. Unfortunately tried the mist pump version but did not work the same for me. Left my hair sticky

I have thin, fine hair and I love this product. It gives my hair great volume. I do however dislike the nozzle on the can. I have purchased 2 cans of this product. Each can sprayed great for 3 uses. Then both can nozzles spit and drizzled down the can making the product impossible to use. I have run warm to hot water over the nozzle trying to clean it out, but so far nothing has worked to make the can of product usable. At this time I will never purchase this product again. Please if you ever fix the problem with the nozzle let me know and I’ll will gladly try another can. I use several other Tresemme products and I am very pleased with them.

I used the first can of the Volume spray three times and the nozzle clogged and I was not able to use it again. I tried running hot water over it and wiping it thoroughly to no avail. I purchased a second can thinking that the clog was just a fluke. It was not a fluke, the second can clogged after four uses. I have tried cleaning with a detergent and wiping thoroughly and that has not helped either. This has been quite upsetting because I really like the product and thought that it did a great job at providing volume to my hair style. Very disappointing.
