Target completely mishandled the delivery of this product. There was air padding on top, but not the bottom. This is a product that is encased in glass. When in arrived, it was completely shattered. I had to request a return. The sauce smelled great, and it was taunting me because I wasn't able to try it - unless, I wanted to eat shards of glass and leaves from the outside delivery.

I know it's pricy, but this is still the best pasta sauce I've ever had by far. I used to buy more basic off the shelf jars, but now that I've tried Truff I can't go back.

So I decided to make a veggie lasagna using Truff spicy marinara and it did not disappoint! Hands down best lasagna EVER. The whole family absolutely loved it. The marinara is thick/condensed in a good way, not watery at all, so flavorful, I usually slow cook a premade for an extended period to achieve this but not necessary with Truff. As far as spicy, I'm not a good judge it's a matter of personal taste. I do find it to have a little kick, there's also a regular version that is amazing. Adds a sophisticated twist, the kids were calling it ‘artisanal lasagna' lol

I was really excited to try this. Unfortunately it turned out to be too spicy to taste anything. Not sure why they would destroy the flavor of the truffle like that.

This sauce is so flavorful, it makes plain pasta feel special. A little goes a long way. I'm going to try substituting it in a soup recipe where plain tomatoe sauce is called for. Maybe some in lasagna as well.

My husband and I love truffle anything, so even though it was expensive, we figured we’d give this a try, we couldn’t even finish our meal. I really wanted to like this but we aren’t spicy people. If you like heavy spiced sauces this is for you.
