Tuffy Ocean Creature Alligator Dog Toy

Not very tough toy. My dog destroyed it in 10 minutes. Not toy's fault, my dog is just good at destroying toys.

This toy was expensive and lasted no more than 10 minutes with my 2.5 year old lab

The Tuffy Alligator is Dinoco’s new best friend. He hasn’t left him alone since we brought the gator home with us…. He loves to play tug-o-war and when he isn’t in the mood to play, he brings his alligator along for nap time. The quality of the toy is beyond what I expected. I have been really impressed how well this toy has held up amongst his others. We will be buying more Tuffys in the future!

Dog loved but destroyed in less than a day

We received this as a gift and so happy our energetic border collie hasn't destroyed it after couple weeks that we bought one for our neighbors pup. Durable and fun

I have a great dane (senior) who in the past has killed any toy in seconds. this one is well made and still surviving. If she was a puppy it would eventually be destroyed but this has lasted longer than anything shes ever played with.

When the product arrived I was not expecting it to be so big. It’s a little tougher than what my dog is used to. My dog hardly ever plays play it. It is realistic though which is a plus. But I don’t think I would get a product like this again.

This is a great toy for a large dog! It’s very a heavy duty well made toy. My dog wasn’t too sure about it at first because it isn’t soft and easy to bite but once I started squeaking it he liked it. It’s water proof as well but we haven’t tried it in the lake yet. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

This dog toy is no joke. Super tough, super durable. My dog normally tears through a "tough" toy within hours if not a day or two. It's been about a week now and the alligator still has all of his limbs in tact. Sometime I worry that my dog may hurt himself whipping the dog toy back and forth, but he is loving it. I look forward to adding more toys from this company to his collection. If your dog tends to go through toys rather quickly as mine normally does this is definitely the dog toy for him! With Christmas coming up our dog will have a variety of toys from this company to open up!!

This alligator toy definitely feels tuff! It is made of a thick fabric and is actually heavier than it looks. It was also a lot bigger than I expected. It is almost as big as my shih tzu but he is still able to drag it around by its tail or legs. The toy has a squeaker in the stomach and another in the mouth. My dog doesn’t like the sound of some squeakers, but he seems to like this one. He has only had it for a week and has already torn through the fabric in the mouth. Inside the mouth there is a pink fabric. He shredded that and then underneath is another layer of a thick white fabric. He also got through that and pulled out the squeaker and stuffing. The squeaker is enclosed in another layer of fabric that is sewn inside of the toy. He hasn’t gotten through the last layer of fabric to the squeaker, but I’m sure it won’t be long. The rest of the toy seems like it would be harder to get through. I think my dog just found the weak spot. Overall this is a good dog toy and I would buy more from this line.

I’m overall pleased with this toy. It is a large squeaky alligator that is made very well. It is made with thick durable material that will hold up. My dog is a very aggressive toy chewer. Her goal in life it to get all the squeakers out of toys. This toy has so far held up a lot longer than any other toy she has had. She has managed to put a whole in it already and that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It is still holding up though despite the whole. She loves it and will not share with the other dogs.

Very durable and huge for my puppy who is only 4-5 pounds right now. He enjoys playing with it and dragging it around. Says it is not a chew toy but I have a puppy so of course he chews on it like crazy! My pup is always supervised when playing and has not had any issues with destroying this toy.

My dogs love this toy! Thankfully it is made of a durable material to keep from being chewed or destroyed. It's also a larger to great for big dogs. The squeaking keeps mine busy for hours. Cant wait to get more.

Dogs will spend hours playing with this alligator! So cute and well made to withstand a lot of heavy playing . Waterproof too , so durability is great!

This is a super heavy-duty dog toy! I'd imagine this would stand up to even the worst, most destructive chewers. It's heavy, probably weighs about 2 pounds. Shaped like an alligator in camo colors, it's even supposed to float in the water. I think this would be an excellent choice for a bigger retriever who loves to swim! My 50 pound collie, however, found this toy to be just too much for her. She can't even bite it hard enough to get it to squeak! A little too heavy and large to pick up, she pushes it around with her nose. If you are looking for an indestructible dog toy for a big active dog, look no further! But it's definitely not for the casual chewer.

I call my Golden Retriever Kosmo "The Destroyer" because he shreds every toy I give him within minutes. Then he met his match: this amazing Tuffy Ocean Creature Alligator Pet Toy! This is the most durable (yet adorable) dog toy I've ever seen! The construction is flawless-- heavy quilted plush with nylon binding that doesn't budge. All the materials are thick and durable, but the design is still so cute. The alligator's eyes are securely embroidered. There are literally no small parts that can be chewed off. Even the squeaker is deeply embedded where my pup can't get to it. Kosmo has been carrying the Tuffy Alligator around the house for days, and I'm amazed that it's still 100% intact. I give this Tuffy toy my highest recommendation for anyone with a dog who is a heavy chewer. From now on, I'm only buying Tuffy toys for my pup! I'd give the Tuffy Ocean Creature Alligator 10 stars if I could!

This is such a great quality dog toy! It is really sturdy, and it can handle a lot of pulling!

This toy is huge compared to what I was expecting! However, my pup loves it! It is well made and I believe it will hold up to even rough play. Plus it is super cute!

First things first this baby is a good 18 inches long it's not a small dog toy! So if you are looking for a cute little plushy this isn't your toy. This is a rough, tough, big, bad, sturdy, squeaky alligator! The 18 month old calls it Ally and he likes to play with our pug with it. Yes, out of all of the dogs the pug has claimed this and only her and the baby may play with it. He will chase her around the house saying grrrr and she will run, turn around growl (while wagging her tail), run some more, wait until he's near his play mat, knock him over, drag the alligator away by the mouth and all you hear is this squeak which makes him giggle and follow her. It's the best game ever. When we got it I expected it to be put to the destroy test by the big boy in the family but I guess he wasn't destined to test this ones durability out. Here's to giggles, growls and wiggly butts/tails!

If you are looking for a tough toy to withstand heavy chewers, this is the one for you! I have a 90-lb. retriever that loves to carry around his "babies" and eventually stops and destuffs them. This one has lasted well (over a week, which in our house is a record). The toy is very well constructed and overstuffed so it does make it a little difficult for him to carry it around (he has to grab it by the foot because he can't get his mouth around it in the center). I would highly recommend this one!
