I wanted to love it. The cleanser is just "OK". I don't notice the smell as much as some nor do I feel that is strips my skin, however, expect to use your makeup eraser for eye makeup cleanup after using.

I bought this in the smaller size to just try it out, i see some people have had problems but for me i really do like this, its gotten off my makeup and made my skin feel clean, the smell is a bit odd. But i do love it, will most likely be buying it again!

I have been using this cleanser every day for over two years. I liked how it smelled and how nourished it would leave my skin. I just bought a new bottled and it smells awful and my face feels stripped. Unfortunately, I will be returning it. Why did they change it?! :(

I wanted to love this as it had so many good reviews but this cleanser has ruined my skin. For starters the scent is horrendous and I just couldnt get past it. But also it has destoryed my skin barrier. I have NEVER had dry patches and now they are all over my face. It causes whatever products I put on after to burn so it's definitely stripping far past what is ok. All day long my face hurts. And its caused an ungodly amount of breakouts all of my fave. DO NOT GET THIS. I can normally tolerate harsher products. This being marketed as gentle is a joke.

I got this as my duamond rewsrd bday freebie. It feels great howevee the smell is so so awful. It bas a scwnt of rose maybe and literally is like the kind of soap that my grandma used to have. And the smell lingers for a long time. Threw it away

I found this cleanser to be a tad more drying of my face than Purity by Philosophy, which is my current cleanser. It's a gel more like Cetaphil. The cap leaked out my product. I don't love it or hate it. I could use it, but already have something i prefer better.

The face wash works great however the carpet itself leaks, and apparently I'm not the only one that feels this way. I have a friend whose cap does the same thing seems like a design flaw however so many other companies make the same kind of design and never have this problem. I recommend the face wash, but not in this style container

I have combo, acne prone skin. I used this consistently for about a month. After one week i noticed painful, cystic like acne. I thought maybe my skin was just detoxing and it would clear, but it just continued to break out. Everyone has different skin, this just wasnt for me.

I received a TULA The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser sample as an Ulta birthday gift a few years ago. I had never tried a TULA product before. The sample was enough for about two weeks of use (a little of this product goes a long way). I used TULA face cleanser every day and two weeks later I saw a noticeable difference in the tone and texture of my skin. I've been using TULA Purifying Face Cleanser ever since. This product isn't a miracle, but if you cleanse your face regularly with TULA Face Cleanser you will notice a definite improvement in the texture and brightness of your skin.
