It has sewn on straps that keep it attached to the bed which is nice, but one of them snapped right off the first time I put it on. It.is very soft though and adds a nice level of padding to my mattress. I will not sleep without it now.

It's thick (3 inches), has elastic bands that go under the corners of your mattress that keeps the topper or featherbed from moving. Honestly it's like sleeping on a cloud and my back thanks Beautyrest for this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my new BeautyRest Soft Cotton Featherbed! I have never owned a feather bed or mattress before and I worried it might feel too flat for me. However, I slept on it for the first time last night and it was like sleeping in a bundle of clouds! I slept like a baby and did not wake up stiff or sore like I usually do. I am really impressed with the comfort this mattress offers. It was also very easy to place on top of my regular mattress. There was a little overhang, but once I got my fitted sheet and mattress protector on it, it's not noticeable. The mattress stayed in place and did not slide all over the bed like some mattress toppers can. The 3 inch thickness also gave my bed a little more height, which I love because my bed does sit a little low to the floor. I am just very happy and impressed with the overall look and comfort of this mattress and I highly recommend!

He said it cradles him when he sleeps and that he wasn’t constantly turning just to get comfortable. He finally got a goods night rest. He had one before and the feathers would bunch up in clumps. So far this one is holding up. I think it helps that it has a strap at each corner. My son likes that he can put a fitted sheet over it and it doesn’t bulge out and stays in place because of those straps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really changes the feel of my mattress which also happens to be a Beautyrest. It really makes it much softer like I'm laying on a cloud. My only concern is possibly getting too hot at night but so far it's okay. It was super easy to put on with the 4 straps and fit the bed perfectly. It kinda fluffed up on its own. I put the mattress protector and sheet over it and they fit just fine. It was very easy to remove from the package and roll onto the bed since it arrived rolled up neatly packaged.

I was surprised by how thick and fluffy the topper is once placed on the bed. It easily lives up to the 3-inch thick label. The feather filling provides a very plush "give" when you lay on it. It strikes a nice balance between adding extra softness to the mattress, but also providing good back support. I like how the filling is sewn into individual squares throughout the topper to keep it evenly dispersed across the bed. This topper is a great addition to our guest bed!

It is filled with 95% feather, the cover is made with 100% cotton and it comes with elastic bands at all 4 corners. I just want to reiterate and emphasize the great comfort I get sleeping on it! I’d definitely recommend this to everyone, including any friends and family, looking for a featherbed to add on to their mattress!

I appreciate the thickness of it and really feel the feather throughout it all. I appreciate that 95% of the grey feather filling is hypoallergenic so a huge plus!
