Was looking for games for my 2.5/3.5 year old kids to play during downtime on a recent trip to grandparents' house. Bought this and Hungry Hungry Hippos. HHH was a winner and we played all weekend. Twister, however, was played once and returned to the store. I think Twister for toddlers is just not a fun idea...my kids were not super impressed by it despite two different play modes. In particular the side where you have to make animal sounds as you step around the board just bored them...wish it was more fun, but it was a dud for us. Also definitely can't join in as adults as the game board is pretty small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted this game to test and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a fantastic game for the family. There are two sides to the game, one offering a slightly more advanced thought process and level as children understand more. The traditional style twister game was lots of fun, even Mum and Dad joined in which thrilled the children. My children quickly understood the game. The ladder game is great for counting and turn taking, however did take my 3 and 5 year old a little longer to understand the objective. This has become a favourite game in our household and my children are now able to initiate and sustain the game themselves. BONUS!

Personally I think the box could be made with thicker cardboard as kids can be extremely rough but the board is sturdy, there was no pieces of concern when it comes to younger kids putting everything in their mouth and wasn’t a slipping or tripping hazard for kids, was good that there was a different game for younger ages as so was very versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great idea to make a variation of twister suitable for younger children. There are 2 levels available . Level 1 is more board game style in some ways and is simple but my 3 year old found it a bit boring. Level 2 was more enjoyable to her and is more in line with original twister but with animals mixed in with colours. This is good and bad as it actually complicates the game in some ways from the original version which focuses solely on colours. Fun for all the family to play level 2 together!

However I can see this game would be perfect for children ages 3 and up! I love that it is two games in one to keep children entertained for hours on end. I can see how this game would lend itself to children creating their own spin on the game, too! It is colourful and bright and very attractive. The packaging itself, however, was not in a very good box and could easily be broken, which is not ideal for very young children. It would be a fantastic gift for a child too!

Was a bit of a struggle for my almost 2yo to understand but our 4yo absolutely loved it, especially the addition of animals and making animal actions and noises on the board game side. Level 2 was more like the traditional twister game and resulted in a crazy amount of laughter and fun. Perfect entertainment for the holidays.
